The first thing to do is to obtain plenty of healing items and the best armor you can get. Igneous is a tough boss with a decent amount of burning damage. You can also build a small camp if you can afford it. The boss is surrounded by small lava rivers, and it’s covered in lava slime in the out.

The first strategy will be to fight the Igneous from range. We recommend you fight him from the range it is much easier to defeat him. He will summon fiery orbs that will heal him, and he will shoot fireballs toward you, so you need to move quickly and consistently. After you drop his health to 50% below, he will increase the pace of attacks, so make sure to prepare well for that fight.

The second way to defeat the Igneous is by fighting at close range (melee). Fighting in melee will require you to obtain the best armor that you can and a lot of healing potions.
