Dead by daylight is one of those games where you’re a group of survivors being hunted by one other player. There’s been a handful of games like these in the past but Dead by Daylight stands as one of the more famous ones in the genre. Despite that it’s clear that there’s a strange love-hate relationship between the players and the devs. Most people complain about how each patch makes the game buggier and how the game can be unfair at times and yet a lot of the same players still play the game. Updated Beamer Aim Guide For Dead By Daylight
In Dead by Daylight the game is often played in a Third-Person point of view. Because of that fine aiming things like flashlights can be a bit difficult for some players. That’s why some people tend to use the body parts of their character to pre-aim so that there’s no time wasted adjusting the flashlight’s beam.
That’s because the flashlight in Dead by Daylight can be used to momentarily stun the Killers, giving the characters a chance to get away.
A reddit user by the name of mimicakefarts posted on the r/deadbydaylight subreddit a guide on how to aim properly with the new changes. In previous versions of the game players used the female survivor’s neck to aim the flashlight.
This isn’t the case anymore; with the new update you’ll need to aim with the female survivor’s right armpit to easily get the beam of the flashlight to where you want to hit. This is true for all female survivors.
For male Survivors you’ll need to your survivor’s right side of your torso to the killer’s head to get a good beam of light on them.
There’s also a bug where if you go far enough you can basically blind them without aiming at the head, which is a new bug added by the update.
