The hardcore Roblox game Deepwoken is all about learning the best meta. And to do that, you want to know the tier list, the best characters for your run. If most games are for casuals and your personal enjoyment
This is a general tier list that includes their raw stats and potential as well as the drawbacks that come with doing your run with these characters.
Race Tier List
There are currently 12 available races and 7 unobtainable/special races. Currently available races are: Adret, Canor, Capra, Celtor, Chrysid, Etrean, Felinor, Ganymede, Gremor, Khan, Tiran, and Vesperian. Below are the chances of obtaining the respective races. Without further ado, here’s the tier.
The ranking of the race tiers consider their Racial Traits and how they best perform under while chasing or escaping. Or if they need other factors to perform on their best potential. While the chance of obtaining some race is pretty rare, they don’t necessarily mean they’re better.
S-Tier Races
Khan, the light-skinned race, is an amazing brute force character that comes with the special trait, Versatile. Meaning they can run on strong weapons with at lower requirement by 3 points. Their bonus attributes are 2 Strength and 2 Agily points.
Easily on par is Felinor. If Khan’s about outpowering people earlier, the whimsical race is about racing to the top. Felinors have 2 Charisma and 2 Agility bonus points. Their special trait, Nightchild, is 1.25 climbing agility or 1.5 climbing agility on wood surface with improved Stealth. You can outrun most people or just give chase to the end of the world with Felinors.
The Tiran spawns with a free Feathered Glider with infinite use that has lower descent speed than regular ones. And along with that, -10% fall damage and 2 Willpower & Agility bonus points.
And the Vesperian is the race you cannot die with. Vesperian is an overall better race than most because they get three instead of two bonus stats: Health, Fortitude, and Willpower. They also have 5% Damage Reduction that you have to sort of recharge every few times fighting.
A-Tier Races
If you’re a PVP enjoyer, Chrysid is the only one that comes with the Mothwing Dust trait. Wtih this trait, you can see them in the dark as they’re highlighted when they attack you. And extra 2 Agility and Charisma points on top.
Ganymede passively don’t get insanity as much in The Depths. They also cost -1 Knowledge in Deep Shrines with Deepfolk trait. These are useful passives with 2 extra Intelligence and Willpower points.
B-Tier Races
Capra can be an A-tier when you play with friends just because Capra’s the best extra team member. Their racial trait, Mark of Ku, Nemit, and Jurik gives extra heals, buffs food and sanity of other people. But not a great a solo run spawn to have.
The water-race Celtor comes with Seaborne trait that makes their ships harder to destory and 20% discount on shipwright. They have Intelligence and Charisma stat buffs and drives ships faster.
The Etrean is just B-tier because of the reduced negative Status Effects (but also the good ones). They take less acid raing damage with one extra HP point. They also have two extra Agility and Intelligence points.
C-Tier Races
Adret have bonus attributes in Willpower and Charisma, plus another point in health. But his trait, Maudet, only raises his favorability with other races by a bit that it doesn’t really matter. If you’re doing speedruns since he also gets three extra points when he powers up, Adret could be a good choice.
Canor takes less damage and deals less damage from and to allies with the trait Loyalty. And 2 bonus points in Strength and Charisma.
Reroll Race
To be fair, the Gremor is probably the best for the beginners of the beginners of the game. If you want a race that doesn’t die too easy and be able to look around on your own, this is it. Gremor comes with a compass that points South, reduced hunger loss and better vision when blind. It’s all part of the Navae’s Guidance trait, but also they’re basically useless when you know what you’re doing.
