Resource collecting in video games can either be exciting or monotonous and boring. There’s no in-between. Some games handle collecting resources easy, and you can turn off your brain while doing it, while some can be a bit more active. In Derelict, there are certain items that you can only get through doing certain things. You might need the right tool or the right level or even the right ability.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to get Blastil Seeds in the game. Now, get ready since you need a specific spell and fight a boss to get this!
How To Get Blastil Seeds Guide
Collecting different resources in Derelict is important in progressing through the game. The thing is, some of these resources are a bit tricky to get and one of them are Blastil Seeds. You need to use a certain spell to actually get this item.
These are the steps we’ll be taking to get Blastil Seeds in the game:
- Get the Umbral Grasp by defeating the boss in Stormbearer’s Tower.
- Go to the Weeping Grove map.
- Look for plants with a blue bulb on top.
- Use the Umbral Grasp on the plants.
- Get Blastil Seeds from the plants!

Detailed Walkthrough
To get Blastil Seeds in the game, you’ll need to do a couple of things first. You’ll want to go to the Stormbearer’s Tower in the Weeping Grove map. Be careful since the way going up the tower has enemies around it.
When you get to the tower, you’ll see a large open are where you’ll have to fight a boss there. You’ll need to defeat the boss in that area and go to the tower using the door at the base.
You’ll then need to talk to the NPC inside the tower to Enscribe your spell essence. It’ll cost you some crowns when you do that. Once you have the Umbral Grasp, go outside the tower.
All over the Weeping Hollow, you’ll see these plants with big blue bulbs like the one shown below. You’ll need to use your Umbral Grasp on the plants and once you do that, it’ll drop the item.
That item it drops through this process are Blastil Seeds! Just repeat the process until you have enough for yourself!
