Derelict – How to Get Pine Wood Guide

Derelict has finally been opened to public and is on its alpha stage, but already has so much to do. Logging is just one of the few skills you want to grind early on to make strong equipment. But the game won’t tell you where the next best thing to grind on after you finish chopping a million oak trees, which is the pine trees.

Let me show you the best place to find pine wood and the requirements to chop them.

How to Get Pine Wood

After you cut down as many oak trees as possible while fighting with other players behind the blacksmith, it’s time to move up the ladder. Pine trees require level 12 Logging skill and an Iron Axe. Once you have these things, we’ll show where you can get find pine trees.

The best places to see spawns of pine trees are between Hollow’s Outback to Hollow’s Arch. Throughout the way you’ll be able to see dense trees filled with all kinds.

Above is what a cluster of pine trees look like. Just behind the Bonsai Tree of Hollow’s Arch is about 4-5 pine trees and a few oak trees that you can alternate spam to raise your logging skill. And hopefully, you can make your first Pine Staff with this as well!
