Holidays in real life will often be in games as well through holiday events! It doesn’t matter if it’s an MMO or a single player games, some of them just update for the holidays. Disney Dreamlight Valley is one of those games and it has a new Christmas event that you can enjoy with the many different Disney characters in the game! Of course with this event comes a lot of new content and there’s quite a few of them to go through. Christmas Event Guide | Gift Of Giving Event In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Christmas is here in Disney Dreamlight Valley and despite not having much snow anywhere there are still some things you can do for the holidays. There’s new items, crafting recipes and quests to go through so let’s look at what you can do for this event!
Festive Fishes
When people think about the Winter Holidays like Christmas we think of a lot of things, Fish not so much. Still, in the game you can find different Festive fishes in the different biomes and they’re usually just normal fish but with cute little hats! When you catch one you can’t catch another one so this is really just for those who like completing all the possible fish you can get in the game!
Gift Giving
When you’re running around town you might notice some gift wrappers around Scrooge’s house. They spawn there for the entirety of the event and you can use those to make different kinds of gifts. These gifts are related to an event quest where you need to give gifts to 10 different people.
Here are the possible gifts you can make:
Shiny Gift – 1 Festive Wrapping Paper, 1 Shiny Ruby, 1 Shiny Emerald
Delicious Gift – 1 Festive Wrapping Paper, 1 Minnie’s Gingerbread Cookies, 1 Hot Cocoa
Handcrafted Gift – 1 Festive Wrapping Paper, 1 Holiday Feast Chair
Naught Gift – 1 Festive Wrapping Paper, 1 Coal Ore
Of course there’s not really any effect on giving any of the gifts to the NPCs of the game so if you want to save resources just give everyone coal!
