The much-anticipated Phantom Liberty DLC of Cyberpunk 2077 is finally out, and with it came a fairly extensive update that changed and added a lot of features in the game. With that in mind, you’re probably wondering if they changed any of the endings. Read on if you’d like to know, though be warned, there will be some spoilers for the base game ahead.

Does Phantom Liberty DLC Change the Ending?
Those who have finished the game prior to the DLC know that there are several possible endings, most of which don’t really end on a very hopeful note for V.
Whether it involves going out in a blaze of glory or escaping the city with no idea whether or not you’ll live through it, there’s no shortage of tragic ends for the protagonist.
Luckily, fans have been treated with a ton of new content, and that includes a new ending confirmed by the developers.
While we won’t go into too much detail, the DLC adds a new conclusion to V’s story completely unrelated to the base game’s possible resolutions that will put your playthrough to an end.
With that said, the DLC itself has its own set of different endings, and not all of them leads to this new conclusion.
As to how you can achieve it, we’ll leave that up to you to figure out, as it involves following a specific set of choices throughout the expansion.
If you made certain decisions over the course of the DLC, you may lock yourself out of the new ending and have to settle for the base game’s offerings.
