Dragonheir: Silent Gods is an RPG that lets you customize your characters however you want. Stats are the main customizable parts of your character, as you can build each and every character however you want to suit your needs from them. But you can’t just slap on a new helmet without reading the attributes and perks and call it a day.
No, you will need to know what each equipment does and learn to properly equips each character with the appropriate gear. In this guide, I will show you how the equipment system works in Dragonheir: Silent Gods.
Complete Equipment Guide
When you first start off playing the game, you will unlock the Forge. Here, you will be able to forge equipment to have it equipped on your characters.
At first, the Forge is a simple process. You go inside, use your Iron Ore to forge as much equipment as you want, and then leave the Forge to continue along the game.
But eventually, your basic equipment won’t be enough for long. Enemies will start getting stronger and your gear still remains bad to use.
That’s why the game eventually opens a new tier of Forge for you, which is essentially Forge II.
The Forge
When you first enter the Forge, you will only be able to access Forge I. But as the game goes on, more tiers of Forge unlock, starting with Forge II.
In Forge II, the requirements of forging equipment will change. Instead of just the Iron Ore, you will need to use other materials like Coarse Tempering Sand – Scarlet.
You will also notice that each Forge tier has their own color. That’s the rarity of each Forge where you can craft equipment. Here are the Forge tiers and the color they represent:
- Forge I – Can forge Common gear only
- Forge II – Can forge Rare gear only
- Forge III – Can forge Epic gear only
- Forge IV – Can forge Legendary gear only
In each Forge tier, you will have to use different rarities of materials. Like for example, if you want to forge a Legendary gear, you will need to use the Legendary variant of the Coarse Tempering Sand – Scarlet.
However, bear in mind that you won’t need to worry about that with Iron Ore. Iron Ore remains the basis of each forge, and you won’t have to use more than 5 Iron Ore’s every time you forge, regardless of rarity.
You may also notice that when you select any Forge tier starting from Forge II, you will notice that you will have extra options at the bottom.
These are options that allow you to forge certain equipment sets and runes that can only be equipped to a certain character.
This is important to remember because you will need to look at certain characters and the type of equipment they can use before you do any forging for a specific character.
This will also save you from wasting resources when doing so, as a lot of beginners tend to make this mistake.
Equipment
Now, to the actual equipment themselves, you first need to recognize the difference between percentage stats and flat stats.
Percentage stats will give you a percentage bonus that will increase certain stats like Attack and HP. While flat stats are essentially a more direct bonus that increases stats with a set number.
For example, if I were to equip an equipment that gives a percentage bonus of 25% on a character like Zhar’loth that’s level 50 and 2 stars, you will most likely get an increase of 107 to your base attack.
But if you have equipment that has flat stats like, let’s say 155, it will increase your base attack by 155. It may be much better early on, but percentage is actually better in the later stages of the game.
Runes
In terms of runes, early on, blue and purple runes are crucial. Be selective with your choices, focusing on crit rate, crit damage, and attack.
As you progress and obtain higher-tier runes, you can refine your choices based on your characters’ needs.
Gear Presets & Plan
Lastly, I’d like to mention the importance of gear presets/plan for arena battles. Saving gear presets can save you time when switching between different gear setups for various game modes.
This feature makes managing your heroes’ gear more efficient and convenient.
