When you first play this game, of course, you will say to yourself that the Domination victory is the most fun! Well, maybe. But to get there, you have to build your own strong army.

Here I will show you a couple of ways how to do it so much easier and much more effectively. Let’s get started.

How To Get Soldiers – Dune: Spice Wars

Soldiers are your bread and butter when it comes to surviving in this harsh desert. They can be there for defense when raiders are upon you, and they can be opening your way through to world conquest. There is one catch tho. They do not work for free.

Solari

You pay your soldiers with the in-game currency of Solari. Solari is basically the cash that you use for training units and paying for their upkeep. If you have more Solari, you can have more soldiers.

You can get Solari in different ways. The most effective is by building Processing Plants near rare element deposits. Another good way is taking over a Village that has a merchant inside, this can give you good Solari over time. Don’t forget that on the top left corner of your screen there is a bar. You can control this bar to change Spices into Solari. This is the key to managing your economy.

Manpower

Manpower is another thing you need to look out for when building your army. The more you have, the more you can train in-village militias as well as units to increase your economy buildings. You also build your main army force with this resource. Keep building Recruitment Offices for getting more and stable manpower.

Water

Water is very important to keep your soldiers alive in this harsh desert. Make sure you got enough to be able to train village militias and to train military units.

You can make a lot of water by building Windtraps in Villages. It creates 1 water for every level of wind strength. My advice is to find the Polar Sink as it gives you tons of water.

Command Points

This determines and gives you the maximum number of you mustering soldiers. Each soldier unit takes up a different number of Command Points. For example, the Support Drones require 4 CP while the regular Troopers require just 3 CP.

If a military unit gets killed or you disband it, you’’ get these Command Points back. Research more developments to get more Command Points for use. For example, Ground Command and High Command are good options.

Voting

You can vote out a solution for making your troops to cost much much less. This can be positive for you, but it can be positive for your enemy as well. So only do this when you are sure that you can overpower him with these bonuses. Make sure you have enough Votes and Influence for this.

Pillaging

Although risky and can result in your soldiers dying. This way showed to be very effective for a lot of players. Especially good when playing with Smugglers.

Pillaging continuously is fun and very rewarding. You get a lot of resources that you can use to build a bigger army, and you get supply lines which means your soldiers on the march can stay alive more.

So I hope this helped you to make your grand army. Go on for that Domination victory. Good luck and destroy your desert foes!
