Keeping relations can be hard. You can have good allies, but at the same time, you can have deadly enemies. You might need to do something about both of them. In Dune Spice Wars you can create Treaties to deal with this kind of stuff.

Here we will discuss some of them which might be most useful. Let’s get started.

Successful Treaties Guide – Dune Spice Wars

You have the power to create a Treaty through talk and peace with your neighbor. But, if something goes south, and your neighbor starts doing something that you don’t quite enjoy, you can use your Influence to sign a Treaty for him!

There are different types of Treaties:

  • Trade
  • Research
  • Open Border Agreement

But offering them alone, might not get you the treaty signed. You shall need to add an incentive to your proposals. For example, if you propose a Research treaty, you might want to add some of the 6 resources that will make the bar in your favor(yellow).

Offering more into the proposal will add to your chance of getting accepted. Using your Influence might come in handy too! As you can see, you can also Force Treaty if necessary.

When you successfully create a Treaty with another faction, you’ll get -1 Authority to your house but increase the reputation with the other faction. The 6 resources that can help you to forge a trade route are:

  • Agents
  • Intel
  • Influence
  • Plascrete
  • Solari
  • Spice

After unlocking the Military Threat development you can do Military Pressure in this trade agreement. You can also extort other subjects for these resources but of course, it’s gonna result in lowering their reputation with you.

I hope this will help you to better control your neighbors around you. Good luck!
