Elemental Dungeons is a fun Roblox Dungeon Role Playing game that allows you to master various elemental abilities. Alongside that, players can take on multiple powerful bosses and show off their elemental abilities in the process.
Many players are confused as to how they can get a sword that has skills associated with it. As of now, there are only two weapons in the game that have skills associated with them. These are the Lightning Katana and Poseidon’s Trident. This guide will focus on how to get the Lightning Katana.
How To Get Sword With Skills
Since there are multiple components that are required to craft the blade, we will divide this guide into different sections. Each section will focus on how to get a particular material in detail.
Crafting Table
The first thing that you should know about is where exactly you can get this weapon. The Lightning Katana can only be obtained through crafting.
For this, you will need to go to the crafting area. Here are the directions on how to get there:
- From the spawn area, simply head to the left.
- Then proceed to go right.
- You’ll find the Crafting NPC in front of a blue house, beside an orange tree.
- Interact with the NPC to open the inventory to craft different items.
Weapon Requirements
In the crafting menu, you should be able to see the Lightning Katana and its crafting requirements as shown in the image below.
To craft the Katana, you will need 100,000 Gold which is the game’s main currency. In addition to that you will require Eight Lightning Orbs and 150 Scrap Metal.
Lastly, you will need the elusive Grimshade Katana, which is one of the rarest weapons in the game.
Lightning Orbs
You can obtain the Lightning Orbs from the Summons area that is in the main spawn area as shown in the image below.
Simply head inside the purple circle to open the store menu. There will be different magic type available in the store.
They will be chosen at random meaning that it is likely that you won’t see the Lightning Orbs in there sometimes.
You can try to obtain by rolling which requires the use of Gems. The items in the Summon shop rotate out every hour, so make sure to check in frequently.
Gold
This is the main currency in the game which you will need for almost everything in it. Starting off the game is a little bit slow, and it takes some time to get used to the different farming methods. The easiest way that we recommend is by attempting the Dungeons.
These do require you to use Gold to enter in them, but the reward varies depending on your skill level. Moreover, for the higher tier dungeons such as Snow Castle there is a high risk of losing your progress since you don’t get anything on dying.
With that said, attempt dungeons only when you are sure that you can complete it. Additionally, you should always offload surplus loot at the Loot Station which is next to the spawn area. Make sure to sell items that you do not need to extra money.
Grimshade Katana
Now, we have the most tedious part of acquiring this weapon, which is the Grimshade Katana. This weapon is notoriously difficult to find and can only be obtained from the Snow Castle Dungeon. It has only a 0.3% Chance of dropping which makes it extremely rare.
You can however boost your drop chances by attempting the Dungeon at higher difficulties. Keep in mind that the base dungeon has a recommended level of 75 and above, so do not try to attempt it at lower levels.
If you have only one of this Katana, then make sure that you do not reforge it, since that will not allow you to use in in the crafting recipe for the Lightning Katana.
Scrap Metal
The final material that you need is the scrap metal which is relatively easy to find. You can get it from completing dungeons such as the Ancient Tombs.
Another great way to get this is by purchasing it from the Merchant that spawns occasionally in the game.
However, the merchant does change its spawn locations, so you will need to find his new location each time. He sells many essential items that you require such as the Scrap Metal and even Elemental Orbs.
