Monaco Track Guide
In this section of the guide, we will be covering the most significant turns that you will be making throughout the course and how you can hopefully navigate past them smoothly.
Also, take a quick peek at our camera settings guide for both TV Pod and Cockpit options first if you still haven’t found the most comfortable and consistent setup for your view yet.
Corner #1
For this first corner, you will want to shift to 3rd or 4th gear and hug the left wall all the way up until the tail end of it before you turn right. More likely than not, you might scrape the wall with the aramco logos on it up ahead as you make the turn.
Avoid the Slight Bump
By this point at the marked spot in the image below, there is a very small chance that you hit a small bump. Because of this, try not to stay too close to the left wall in this particular part of the track if you can.
Corner #2
Next up, you’ll want to shift to 4th gear as you hug the inside wall, making sure to stick as close as you can to the apex. Maintain this gear and get ready to immediately turn right as you exit this corner.
Corner #3
Shortly after the previous corner, as you approach the end of the walls with the Qatar Airways logos, shift down to 2nd gear as you approach the end and be ready to brake and turn to the right.
Corner #4 (Hairpin)
Immediately after the previous turn, you will be faced with a hairpin corner. Maintain 3rd gear as you approach it and shift back down to 2nd as you make the turn. Others prefer to drop to 1st gear here, so stick with whatever works best for you.
Corner #5
After passing the previous hairpin corner, you will want to maintain 2nd gear as you follow the apex and be ready to brake and turn right as you pass by the marked spot of the image below. If you did it right, you should be able to get past this smoothly and shift up to around gear 6 or 7 as you enter the tunnel.
Corner #6 (Chicane)
As you exit the tunnel, you will be approaching the Nouvelle Chicane. You will want to very quickly shift down to around 2nd or 3rd gear as you try to hit the apex. Immediately following this is another corner but all you need to do for it is a simple left turn as you shift to 5th gear and gain more speed.
Entering Sector 3
As you enter sector 3, watch out for the curb highlighted in the image below that can potentially throw you off as you try to turn left. Shift down to around 4th gear as you go past it.
Final Two Corners
As you approach the next corner, shift down to 2nd or 1st gear and get ready to brake while you try to stick close to the right wall as you turn. If you do it correctly, you should barely make the turn without bumping into the other wall.
After that, you just have to make another right turn while maintaining your current gear. Once you have cleared these last 2 corners, you can freely shift back up and finish the rest of the lap.
And that concludes this guide for the Monaco track in the game. While you’re here, you might want to check our articles on other tracks, such as the F1 24: China Track Guide & Setup, so you will be better equipped to take on all of the courses!
