Pigs Essentials
Before bringing a pig to your virtual farm, you will need to have a few essentials ready. These include:
- Tractor with Front Loader: Required to transport feed and straw for your pigs. You must first purchase the necessary attachment from the dealer. Drive the tractor to the dealer, park it in the vehicle options field, and select the appropriate attachment.
- Pallet Fork and Bale Spike: Used to transport feed to the barn.
- Pigsty: You need to choose between three versions in the construction menu, depending on your account balance:
- Pig Pasture: Requires both feed and water.
- Pigsty: Requires only feed.
- Large Pigsty: Offers more space and feeding options.
Tip: If you want to produce manure, you must purchase a pigsty.
- Manure Heap: Used to store manure produced by the pigs once the pigsty is lined with straw. Found in the “Buildings” tab under “Silo” or “Silo Extensions” in the construction menu.
- Manure Spreader: Used to either spread manure on your fields or transport it to the point of sale.

Placing Pig Pens

There are three housing options: a pig pasture, a standard pigsty, and a large pigsty. When using a pigsty, you don’t need to provide water as it’s already included in the setup. Purchasing Pigs
There are two ways to buy pigs in the game; these are:
- Transport them yourself: You will need an animal transport trailer to move pigs.
- Pay someone to deliver them: This option will include a transport fee.
To buy pigs, look for the paw print icon, which is located near your animal pens. Then, press ‘R’ to interact and purchase pigs.
You can buy pigs that are either zero months old or three months old. You can raise them to maturity, and once they are fully grown, they can be sold for a profit.
Transport Fee
If you choose to have someone deliver the pigs, there’s a transport fee.
- For zero-month-old pigs, the fee is $30 per pig.
- For three-month-old pigs, the fee is $40 per pig.
If you decide to transport them yourself, you won’t have to pay the fee, but you will need an animal transport trailer. You can find these trailers in the store:
- The large trailer can hold 36 pigs.
- The smaller trailer holds 13 pigs at a time.
Feeding the Pigs
To keep your pigs healthy and ensure they can reproduce (which is essential for selling them regularly for profit), you need to provide them with the proper mix of feed. Simply unload pig food or individual crops at the designated unloading area of the pigsty. Unlike cows, pigs do not require a mixing wagon.
- Base Feed: Corn and/or sorghum
- Grains: Wheat and/or barley
- Protein: Soybeans, canola, and/or sunflowers

However, this doesn’t apply to the pig pasture, as it is solely for livestock breeding and does not produce manure. If you have a pigsty, the manure will accumulate in the manure heap, which you can sell or use to fertilize your fields.
Breeding Pigs
The reproduction of pigs depends on three key factors: their age, the available space, and their health.
Pigs become mature and capable of producing offspring once they reach six months of age. However, reproduction can only occur if there is enough room in the barn for additional pigs and if the animals maintain 100% health, which can be ensured by feeding them regularly.
