The best source of Protein is always a tasty fresh local Fish. In the world of Farthest Frontier you will have a bunch of ways of obtaining food. But going for the fishing route is definitely one of the best ones. In this guide we will be showing you how to obtain Fish through the Fishing Shack. Let’s get started.

How The Fishing Shack Works – Farthest Frontier

First of all you will have to make sure that the Fishing Shack is always built right next to the water. This will grant all the fishermen the best suitable location and the more yield. It is common logic for a fishing hut to be next to the fish.

Once you build it you will start seeing these small little blue icons next to the shoreline. They represent area where you can actually go and fish for some fish.

You can place the area for work also in the area where the most fishing locations will be. As you can see there is a Shoal of Fish also next to this Fishing Hut in the picture. This is where you will get the most amount of fish. The best location for getting the most amount of food. This will increase the productivity but it is not required. So if you might not have it it’s not the end of the world.

If you need to move where the Fishermen might need to go you can do so as well. Just move the area around where you will find more fishing spots later on. This will be your best indicator to know where to fish and where not to.

Go for where the numbers will be the highest and the productivity the best. Try not to stray away too far from the Fishing Hut because this will mean the fishermen will need to take their time to actually carry their yield to the Fishing Hut. You won’t want to lose some extra time on this.

Once the fishermen gather a lot of fish they will take it to the Fishing Shack. You can see how much Fish you have stored inside your Shack. Then after a while a worker will come from the Fishing Hut and actually pick up these fish. You can now transfer them to the Smokehouse. So it is crucial to build one of these too for they will be able to cook your Fish into food.

It will also go to your StoreHouse right after the Smokehouse or before. This way the people around the village can get their fresh daily food and you will have one more necessity of theirs satisfied.

There it is! That is all that you should know about the Fishing Shack. We hope that it cleared out some stuff for you and helped you gather up a whole lot of food for your Villagers. Have fun!
