God of War may be seen as a video game franchise that centers around anger and hatred, as well as epic fights with gods and large monsters. But underneath all of that, there are characters that go through a lot. Many know Kratos for his aggressive nature, but his nature comes from a place of sorrow. Many of God of War’s characters are like that, but we shine the spotlight on Freya, who lost many things due to Odin, and even Kratos. In this guide, we focus on finding Freya’s Missing Peace, which is also a Favor.
God of War Ragnarok – Reach Freya’s Wedding Shrine & Explore the Shrine
Before you start, you need to have Freya as an ally before you can continue. Aside from the fact that Freya is in the title of the favor, you also need her for some of the puzzles.
Unlock the path to the Vanir Shrine
To unlock the passage, you need to go up the chain. However, there are vines in the way, preventing you from continuing. Go up the platforms close to the vines, and have Freya shoot her arrows. You need three arrows that are close to each other, so you can use the Blades of Chaos to detonate the nearest arrow and cause a chain of reaction that destroys the vines, letting you continue.
After climbing up, you will need to have Freya open up the passage. After that, go back to your boat and follow the objective.
Get to the entrance
When you reach the Goddess Falls, you will find yourself in a large area with high walls. The entrance to the Freya’s wedding site is here.
From here, climb up the wall in front of you and head left.
You will find a hook in front of you. Grapple on to it with your Blades of Chaos and jump to the other side. You will see some vines blocking your path to a chest, but the way up is to the wall on the right. You can get the chest if you want.
Head to this large wall. It will be covered in vines, but Freya will use her magic to clear the way, which opens the way to the Vanir Shrine, Freya and Odin’s wedding site.
Explore the area
The entirety of the area can be explored by you, and you can find multiple collectibles and lore related items that will add to the story of Freya and Odin’s wedding. You should also complete the quest here as well, as it will reward you with a new weapon for Freya.
