There will be a total of 3 runes that you will need to find in order to complete this sub-quest.

The first rune will be right behind this stone on the right when you will be going up the road. You will use the spell that will be given to you for doing this quest. Just activate it on the stone and the rock will get destroyed. Just get next to the wall now and you will read the written Rune.

The second Rune will be right on the other side of the first one. Simply walk right next to the big roots that grow up in the air. You will find this stone on the right of the roots. Use the same spell that you’ve used on the first one to crack open the rocks. Then just read the Rune the same again.

The third and final Rune will be when you start going up the big root. This will lead you into a cave. But if you look closely, you will see that there is a stone hidden right on the left after you’ve climbed up the root. Basically, this is where it will be located:

Walk up next to it, and then, use the spell that’s been given to you to crack open the rocks. Then just walk up next to the wall and read the Rune in order to get it. Careful though, this time there will be enemies behind this stone.
