Genshin Impact has gotten tons of improvements over time in the light of all the patches released. Owing to the latest patch and the release of very new and interesting characters, you will be getting to know Kazuha. As a matter of fact, Upon The Plain a Purple Shadow is the quest that you’ll need to finish to get to know him better.

Upon The Plain a Purple Shadow Guide – Genshin Impact

You will have to first start the quest. To do this, get inside the Acer Palmatum Chapter. Here, you’ll see the Kaedehara Kazuha Chapter Act 1 and then unlock it. You will see on your top left corner, or in the quest bar, a new quest appears and it means you can be on your way. Just press Navigate and you’ll see it positioned on the map.

Now the first step is going to be getting to Byakko Plain. You will need to stand in the middle of the grass field area. When you get here you’ll get a mini cutscene and right after a fight with the Sudden Attacker will start.

Be wary of him because he does have a big HP and can deal pretty massive damage if he catches you. When you do get him to 50% HP another cut scene will open where he will be the one talking now.

It doesn’t really matter what you choose in the dialogues because they will all lead to the same result. After this, Chapter 1 will be completed. A Strange and Friendless Road will now begin.

The next step is going to be getting to the town of Ritou and finding Kazuha himself. He can be found standing next to the boats at the dock of the town. Or you’ll find the sailor Chao here. You will have a big dialogue with him and again, doesn’t matter what dialogue options you will pick because they will lead to the same thing at the end.

After this dialogue, you will need to go all the way from Inazuma to Narukami Island. Let’s hope that you have a waypoint for fast travel here.

While here you’ll have to find the Tenriyou Commission Headquarters. They will be located just next to the big center, or the big building on the right after the entrance. Enter this building and talk to the Proxy Clan Head. You will find Kazuha standing here too.

There will be a long dialogue and a cutscene that you will have to go through. You can ask Kazuha about his sibling and Kazuha will become worried about the attacking situation and join you in tracking down the aggressor.

Congratulations! This should be the end of the quest and you would have done it successfully.
