In God of War Ragnarok, we follow the story of Kratos and Atreus trying to fight against Odin and the Aesir. To do that, we need to find the Aesir God of War, which is Tyr. While it is hard to find him, it is not impossible. There are signs and hints of Tyr everywhere in Midgard, and you can find runes engraved on his fallen statue that may lead you to him, or grant you wisdom. In this guide, we show you how to complete the Guiding Light favor.
Guiding Light Guide – God of War Ragnarok
The favor starts when you find one of the runes engraved on Tyr’s fallen statue. You can find all of the runes and parts of the statues in the frozen Lake of Nine. You can find one bit of the statue near the bridge to Tyr’s Temple.
The spear contains an engraved rune. Examine it, and you will have the Guiding Light favor started.
You can find Tyr’s helmet near the spear. Check your map and head to where the E is on the Lake of Nine.
There, you will find Tyr’s helmet, with a rune engraved inside.
Moving a bit further west, there is a piece of the statue, Tyr’s left bracer, near a gateway.
You will find another rune engraved. It’s easy to spot them since they are glowing bright blue.
The last one is located on the Shores of Nine, but still not too far.
You can find the last rune engraved on Tyr’s right bracer. After collecting the last rune, you will have successfully completed the Guiding Light favor.
