To perform a takedown in Gotham Knights is very simple. The key that you need to know and how to execute one is stealth. This means that you will need to be stealthy and go around from bush to bush and then walk up behind an unsuspecting enemy.
You will walk up behind an enemy like shown in the picture above and then just hit the Triangle key to do a Takedown. It is as simple as that.
This attack is a silent takedown and will get you to pass through the beginning stages of the game very easily. It is a one–shot deal when done on these lower-level enemies. It also has a lot of very cool and unique animations that feel very rewarding to do.
