In Grimoires Era, there is a lot of luck involved when it comes to making the perfect build. Case in point, you have to rely on the gacha gods in order to get your grimoire, race, and aura. With that said, if you have the means to get as many spins as you need, you can try out this so-called Devil King build that requires some fairly rare stuff!
Devil King Build Guide
Just to get it out of the way first, this build will require you to spend Robux. This is because you need the Starter Pack game pass bundle from the shop for the required accessories and the Imperial Sword.
The accessories that come with the bundle will give you bonus mana and health, which lets you allocate more stat points into increasing your defense.
Choosing Your Race
The first and most obvious step is to spin for the Devil race. This is a legendary race, so it has a drop rate of only 0.5% and will require a lot of luck to get.
If you need more race spins, try and input some of the codes that are currently working in the game. You can also join the AFK Zone from the main menu to passively get some while you do something else.
Aside from being thematically appropriate, the Devil race is incredibly powerful. It gives you a 5% damage buff and a 5% lifesteal passive that will increase your survivability.
Stat Point Allocation & Grimoire
Next up, for your stats, you will want to do the following setup:
- 500 Strength
- 443 Defense
- 61 Mana
- 1 Magic
- 500 Sword
This build utilizes the Anti Magic grimoire, which reportedly scales off your Strength stat. You will also be switching and making use of the Imperial Sword whenever your grimoire cooldowns are off.
This build has a lot of area of effect potential, making it great for both farming and boss hunting. The only downside is that it is really costly due to the game pass requirements.
Potential Alternatives
If you need some free alternatives to the game pass items, you have a few options. They won’t be as good as the original version of this build, but they can work if you are on a budget.
If you can find the Wizard Hat (+500 health) or the Mana Glasses (+500 mana), you can adjust your mana or defense stats depending on which accessory you have.
Funnily enough, these two items also work with the necklace and coat from the starter pack. This means that you can make the original build even stronger.
There are also weapons such as the Sai, Silver Sword, and Mace that drop from certain bosses around the map. They aren’t as good as the Imperial Sword, but they can be used in a pinch.
And that is pretty much everything you need to know in order to emulate this build in Grimoires Era. If you haven’t already, you should also check out our guide on how to get the broom so that you can travel around the map much faster!
