The new 1.0 update for Grounded has finally released and with it a bunch of new stuff for new and old players alike! The whole campaign is now in the game from start to finish to play alone or with friends and not only that but also new areas to explore. There’s also a bunch of new items as well as quality of life changes for the old players to enjoy. The new update adds a whole new bunch of quest as well as new areas and in this guide, we’ll show you how to do one of the quests that will take you to the new area of the map.
Find Wendell’s Lab Beneath The Shed In Grounded
In the quest “The Missing Scientist” you’ll be tasked with looking for Wendell’s Lab beneath the shed after entering the crawl space into the shed. The new area can be quite confusing to navigate for old and new players alike so in this guide we’ll show you where to go.
You’ll start at the are shown on the image above. You enter a door and you’ll be in a room with a bunch of items inside. Going through the room you’ll find a passageway going down, take that path and you’ll find yourself in a wide underground area. Use the path to the right to go up.
Follow the path, dropping down to the pipe and following it until you find a piece of wood next to the pipe. Go down from there.
Head straight until you get to the other side of the room where a wooden walkway going up can be found. Take that path upwards.
Jump right to the right and you’ll see a field station, use the metal platform next to it to travel through the path.
Do a little bit of platforming and continue through the path onto some pipes.
At the end of the pipe is a drop down. You’ll need to glide into the area where there’s a hole and a lot of spider webs.
There will be spiders in the area so for the people who have arachnophobia we won’t be showing pictures of the spiders. The path through the spider nest is fairly linear and at the end should be an open area where you’ll find the entrance of the lab.
