The Roly Poly is a rather peaceful creature. In which the Roly Poly will not attack or chase you or any other insect if it is not bothered. However, if the Roly Poly is attacked by you or any other insect, then the Roly Poly will turn aggressive and will fight back against its attacker. It is best to leave Roly Poly’s alone, as they do not bother you. But they have loot that you can use to improve your gear and other resources. If you want to find that loot, then you need to find a Roly Poly first.
Roly Poly Location – Grounded
You can find a Roly Poly here. It is near the Sandbox and you can find it near the fence. It will just be roaming around without a care.
When you do find it, you will see that it is indeed not doing anything to harm you or other insects, and is instead just minding its own business. Once you attack it though, then your will have to fight it. After defeating the Roly Poly, you will be granted with loot. Either Tough Gunk or Roly Poly Part.
