With the release of the game Grounded a lot of things have been added and changed in the game. There’s a whole new area to explore and the game is finally complete so you or your friends can now play the entire campaign in one go. This doesn’t spell the end of the game development though since there are still a lot of things that are being changed in the game. One of the changes the devs are making is weapon balancing. Top 5 Weapons Tier List | Updated Grounded
There are a lot of weapons in Grounded, some of them good, some of them bad. Some of them can shine in some cases while being terrible at most.
So, the term ‘best weapon’ can get a bit tricky here since there is a best weapon for certain situations and there can be a lot of them. We’ll try to generalize it a bit so the list won’t be the entire weapon catalogue.
Top 5: Tick Macuahuitl
The first one on the list is the Tick Macuahuitl, this sword is probably one of the best healing items in the game. Why would a sword be a healing item? It’s because this sword has life steal! Paired with fast attack speed and minimal stamina drain, this is a great weapon for staying in the fight longer.
Top 4: Rusty Spear
The next on the list is the Rusty Spear, and for one specific reason. This spear is amazing against Termites because of their weakness against piercing. If you go and fight in the Termite spawns you can easily get a bunch of Termite parts that you can then use to make Repair Glue, a very valuable resource in the late game. The weapon also inflicts Infection which slows attack speed and attack power.
Top 3: Club of the Mother Demon
Besides having a cool name, the Club of the Mother Demon is the strongest weapon in the game. It also has one of the highest stun stats in the game as well making this weapon a heavy hitter loved by many. The only downside of this weapon is its abysmal speed which can really hurt if you need to swing real fast against a lot of enemies.
Top 2: Black Ox Crossbow
The best crossbow and the game and crossbows as a weapon is top tier already. Not only are they ranged so you can kite enemies, they also have a bunch of different ammunition types to fill the role of anything. The weapon is so versatile that it’s great to have all the time, especially when using the explosive bolts! Definitely a top tier weapon.
Top 1: Widow Dagger
The best dagger in the game, there’s a reason why they nerfed this weapon, but it’s still effective! The damage might be low but it has good enough damage for daggers, where it shines is its speed.
You can swing this weapon a lot, and for days even because of the small impact to stamina. This weapon also inflicts poison to the target which just makes this the best DPS weapon out there!
