Hitman 3 is a game that focuses on stealth, giving you that tense and exciting gameplay. If you ever played Hitman and Hitman 2 before, know that Hitman 3 actually supports carrying over your progress. This guide will show you how you can do just that from Hitman 1 and 2.
Carryover Progress Hitman 1 and 2 — Hitman 3
According to the IOI page on Hitman 3, your previous progress from Hitman 1 and 2 will be recognized and transferred in the game. You only need to purchase the Hitman 3 Standard edition.
NOTE: Purchasing the Deluxe or other bundles will only provide you with additional content.
The location importing should happen automatically if you already have both Hitman 1 and 2 on Steam.
On the other hand (where it did not automatically happen), carry over your progress by following the instructions on the IOI page.
You are going to need to create an IOI account and sign into it to begin the process. Once you are done, simply go to the site to begin the carryover process. Choose the profile you want to carry over to Hitman 3 and the site will do the rest.
If your locations did not import automatically, you may need to create an IOI account and link it to your Steam. We recommend that you start this process before you begin playing Hitman 3 because it can wipe out any progress you have with Hitman 3.
Performing the carryover process will allow you to start with your existing profile, XP, items, and suits.
No previous effort wasted! Now, continue the story!
