Complete Sun Ce Guide

Before we get into the meat of what Sun Ce is, then you need to fully understand what makes him work. Sun Ce is a close range Martial Arts fighter, meaning that he is quite the force for close quarters combat in the game. He’s an exceptionally good DPS character but with bad mobility, meaning you can’t easily escape enemy players from attacking you once they give chase.

Sun Ce excels in a group because of this, allowing him to gang up on other enemy players or groups with the help of other players that can provide support and tanks, which will allow him to focus on dealing damage as much as he can. But again, remember that Sun Ce isn’t a fast character, so be sure to retreat as soon as you can when you feel that you are no longer safe to avoid getting chased.

But you should remember to take advantage of Sun Ce’s amazing defense. He can stack up Physical Armor 10 times, which is a lot of defense to help in surviving attacks. It makes up for Sun Ce’s lackluster speed that gets him killed more than anything.

Skills

Sun Ce, like all of the characters in the game, has his own skills that sets him apart from the others and makes him unique enough to play. Here are the skills you have to remember when playing as Sun Ce:

  • Violent Wave (Passive) – This is Sun Ce’s greatest skill is possibly his Passive Skill. Violent Wave allows Sun Ce to get enhanced damage to his next attack every 6 seconds. Not only will he deal excellent damage, but he will also restore health for himself. This is also the skill that allows him to get Physical Armor up to 10 times. If he gets hit with physical damage or one of his skills hit, he gets Unyielding each time until a full stack of 10 is reached.
  • Wind Breaking Wave Slash (Active) – A skill that allows Sun Ce to charge forward with incredible speed, dealing physical damage to anyone that is caught in the charge. A simple skill that allows him to escape if things get too hard while also dealing damage on the way out.
  • Big Waves and Big Winds (Active) – A powerful attack skill that makes Sun Ce slash forward 3 times. Each slash he lets out increases damage by 25%, which increases the base damage of 180. This is a great skill to help in taking down any enemy that’s already weak and close to death.
  • Break the Sails (Ultimate) – A powerful skill that causes Sun Ce to surf a large wave using his boat for 12 seconds. This will increases his running speed and will gain immunity for a short amount of time. But when the wave hits an enemy or a terrain, the boat will automatically explode and deal damage to those who are around him. But if you push the skill button again, Sun Ce will jump off the boat. The boat will then continue in the fixed direction it is going.
