If you’ve ever wandered near the Grass Games and Ceremony biomes in Grounded 2 and spotted a giant podium towering above the cluttered battlefield, you’re probably wondering: How the heck do I get on top of that thing? 🤔 Well, good news, I did the climb, got the loot, and lived to tell the tale (after a few stumbles and spider scares). This guide will walk you through the full climb from the ground floor all the way to the top of the podium, including bonus tips, notes, and everything you can loot once you’re up there.
But first… Spider Warning! 🕷️ Heads up: there’s a giant spider roaming the area near the podium base. If you’re quick, you can avoid it entirely, especially if you’re mounted. I recommend the Red Soldier Ant Buggy for mobility, but if you’re going on foot, just keep moving and stay alert.
How to Climb to the Top of the Podium
The Podium is located along the border between the Grass Games and Ceremony biomes. It looks like a chaotic mess of school supplies, broken ramps, and stacked containers, but with the right route (and mount), you’ll be standing tall in no time. 📚📝
Stage 1: Getting to the Second Floor
There are two ways to get to the second floor of the Podium in Grounded 2:
Route 1 – Web Bridge & Cup Jump
Head to the northeast side of the podium and look for a web bridge connected to a ramp made from index cards. Cross it using your mount or on foot to reach the second level.
Once inside, go straight toward the pencil ✏️ at the back of the room and follow it. You’ll spot a wooden ramp, but skip it. Instead, jump on the crumpled paper and Styrofoam cup 🥤 nearby to bypass the wall in your way.
Route 2 – Screwdriver Climb
For the alternate entrance, start by climbing up the screwdriver near the base of the podium. From there, hop onto the bottle, then make your way across to reach the pencil. Climb up along it to enter the second floor from a different angle.
Stage 2: Navigating the Maze
From the cup, angle yourself toward the ramp again. Drop down to a lower section where you’ll spot a giant wad of gum 🍬 —this is your next landmark.
Near the gum, look to your left for a narrow ledge leading to a hole in the wall. Crawl through it and you’ll end up on the outside edge of the podium.
Now the tricky part begins. Carefully climb the diagonal ramp while avoiding a deep pit below. You’ll have to jump across a few rusty nails—take your time here. 😬
Stage 3: Wrapping Around & Going Up
Follow the broken ledge around the podium to the right side. One path leads to some bonus Raw Science, but the main route continues through another hole in the wall.
Inside, duck under a water bottle and Hot Chachas box 🌶️, then climb the ramp made from stacked snack boxes. You’ll see a black bowl, a plastic knife, and a microphone 🎤.
Drop into the bowl to grab some Spicy Candy, then hop onto the knife and up to the microphone head.
Stage 4: Climbing the Mic to the Top
Once you’re on the microphone, you’ll see its cord spiraling upward. Use it like a ramp and follow it all the way to the top of the podium.
Up here, prepare to battle:
- 2 O.R.C. Blue Butterflies 🦋
- 2 O.R.C. Weevils 🐞
Take them out with ranged weapons (a bow is perfect 🎯), then enjoy your well-earned rewards, as well as the O.R.C. Transmitter you need to disable.
