When you think of survival games you might picture being stuck in a place you can’t easily go out of, limited resources, gathering and crafting as well as food and hunger bars. For some people, those food and hunger bars can be quite annoying but it’s a needed addition through immersion.

A single person can’t survive for more than a week without food and water so it’s important to keep those high. In Sons of the Forest, it’s as easy as going to a lake to get some water, but sometimes it’s not that easy, especially when nature is against you.

In this article, we’ll show you how to get water during winter in the game!

Sons Of The Forest: How to Get Water During Winter

When playing through Sons of the Forest you might have placed your base somewhere nice where you can get all the resources you need easily. One of the resources is water which you can get in lakes and rivers, so most probably you’ve placed your bases near them.

When winter comes though you might have noticed a problem, all the rivers and lakes are frozen. How are you going to get water now?

To get water in Winter is actually pretty simple, all you need to do is find the small streams that branch out of lakes and rivers.

These small streams can still be accessed in winter and aren’t frozen, so you can go up to them and drink some nice cold water, or put it in a canteen for later use.

If you need a canteen or water flask you’ll need to find yourself a 3D printer first in order to make one. Good thing for you that we have a guide right here on where to find it: Where To Find The 3D Printer In Sons Of The Forest – Item Level

Congratulations you now know where to find Water in Winter in Sons of the Forest.

If you’re still thinking of where to make a base make sure to place it near these small streams so that you won’t have problems in winter!
