Leveling up your Summoner is essential in the game. But your main hero isn’t the only one who needs leveling up. Your support monsters must also be powerful to be effective in battles. So, leveling them up to their full potential is recommended.
Summoners War Chronicles: How to Level Up Monsters
There are one-star monsters and up to five-star monsters in Summoners War: Chronicles. The star level will depend on the monsters you can summon on the Summon Altar. Leveling up your monsters is essential in improving their power, skills, and stats. You can see below the maximum level star monsters achieve.

What Do You Need to Do to Gain EXP Potions?
You must obtain and use EXP potions on your monsters to level up. The game has Normal EXP Potions and Premium EXP Potions. You can check the required EXP potions to level up your monsters below.

Where to Get EXP Potions?
You can get EXP potions through various things, tasks, and events. First and foremost, you must play the main storyline to get a boost in early game advancement. There will be quests that can give you EXP Potions. You can also get it through the daily free gift, challenge, and finished tasks. There are also other ways to obtain EXP potions which are:
Path of Growth: Path of Training
The Path of Training has 15 levels. You can quickly finish Level 12 with 100k – 200k PWR. And you can obtain around 21 Normal EXP Potions and 2 Premium EXP Potions by passing the 12th Level in Path of Training. Moreover, you can also double your rewards if you have a Summoner Pass!
Guard Journal: Area Dungeon and Monster Story
You can find the Guard Journal on the main menu. This Journal consists of Adventure Records, Area Dungeon, and Monster Story. You’ll also be able to unlock achievements here and obtain prizes by finishing your Guard Journal tasks. You can only acquire these rewards once, so completing the jobs in the Journal as you progress is recommended.
NPC Scarlet/Main Menu: Exchange Pieces
Most people do not recommend trading low-star monsters in exchange for Normal EXP Points. The reason is you can also swap your ★or ★★ Monster Pieces for a ★★★ Rainbowman or Breath of Life. Think first about which one you need more before deciding which item to exchange them for.
Profession: Cooking
Level 3 Cooking allows you to craft Normal EXP Potions, and Level 6 Cooking lets you make Premium EXP Potions. You can craft up to 30 potions per day.

You can also buy an EXP Potion Package in the Package Shop: Play tab.
Other Event Prizes and Bounties: Area Dungeon
You can effectively obtain Premium EXP Potions through the Area Dungeon. There are three instances that you must finish here: Easy, Hard, and Very Hard instance. You can only get the items once, but it is a perfect way to boost and level up your monster during the early game.
