If you don’t want to spend hours upon hours messing with your guns the way you want them to be and would rather just jump straight into the action, then blueprints are a great way of doing that. These blueprints are all weapon modification sets that once applied to the gun you got it for, the gun will change stats and attachments. For this guide, we will show you how to get the Basilisk blueprints, a blueprint for the magnum gun in the game.
MW2 DMZ – How To UNLOCK The TYCOON Basilisk Blueprint
Unlock the No Rushing Mission
The Basilisk blueprint can be unlocked by completing the No Rushing Mission. However, you need to unlock the mission first before anything else. To do that, you need to complete the following missions and their objectives:
- Tactical Extraction
- Extract 13 Gas Grenades
- Extract 11 Flash Grenades
- Extract 7 Snapshot Grenades
- Dead Drop
- Travel to Al-Mazrah City
- Deliver 20 pieces of lethal equipment to the dumpster dead drop in the Sarwana Hotel alley, north of the Al-Mazrah City Post Office
- Good Fortune
- Unlock Room 302 in the top floor of the Sawah Hotel
- Loot and extract the golden .50 GS from Room 302 in the Sawah Hotel
- Fort Scout
- Travel to El Bagra Fortress
- Loot 12 caches in El Bagra Fortress
- Kill 30 enemies in El Bagra Fortress
- Commanding Intel
- Acquire a Secure Intel Contract
- Complete a Secure Intel contract to reveal the location of an enemy Commander
- Kill a Commander (Juggernaut, Chemist, or Boss Chopper)
You can do this in any order, no need to follow this specific order.
Complete No Rushing Mission
Once you have the No Rushing mission unlocked, you now need to complete it in order to get the Basilisk blueprints. Here are the objectives:
- Kill 10 enemies at Al Malik Terminal with a SAKIN MG38 with a 150-Round Box Magazine and a Soshki bipod
- Shoot down three reinforcement choppers at Al Malik Terminal with a SAKIN MG38 with a 150-Round Box Magazine and a Soshki bipod
The No Rushing mission requires you to use the SAKIN MG38 with some specified attachments. We have below a loadout for the SAKIN MG83 that can help you complete the objectives easily:
- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
- Optic: Schlager 3.4x
- Underbarrel: Soshki
- Ammunition: 7.62 Incendiary
- Magazine: 150-Round Box
With the loadout ready, head to the area and complete all objectives. Afterwards, you will receive the Basilisk blueprint.
