Infection Free Zone just got its Early Access launch on Steam. If you are not familiar with Infection Free Zone, it is a base building game that has a post-apocalyptic setting. You have to defend your base from the undead. The game allows you to play in many different locations. And there are plenty of tools that you can use against the zombies. This guide will be showing you how to deconstruct a building in Infection Free Zone. Keep reading to learn more.

How To Deconstruct & Dismantle a Building

Dismantling or deconstructing a building is pretty simple and straightforward. You just click on the building and then click the Hammer icon at the bottom of the Building Menu.

So you might be wondering, why write a guide on such a simple matter. Well, the problem a lot of players are facing is that the Hammer icon is not doing what it is supposed to do. Instead it is giving the players a message of adopting the building.

The reason for this is because there is a Bug in the UI. The actual Deconstructing button is hidden (not visible) to the right side of the Hammer icon.

This button is bugged so it will not be visible for you.

Click on the building you want to Deconstruct, then start clicking in the circle marked in the image above. When you click the invisible Deconstruction button, you will get a prompt of resources that you will gain by deconstructing the building.

This is it for this short guide. Do you know that there is a way to do anything you want in the game without any restrictions? It is possible by using the Developers’ Console. Learn more about it from this guide: How To Use Console Commands Guide. The guide also has a complete list of the Commands currently present in the game.
