Roblox game InVision’s Web-Verse has gone a long way. Changes have been made and quality of life has improved. But with more content added, new players are bound to find themselves unsure of what to do first. Or even how to swing from one building to another. This is the Complete Beginner’s Guide of Invision’s Web-Verse for those looking to get off the right start in the game!
Complete Beginner’s Guide
We’ll start with the easy parts, like the controls and then to more complicated things like how to get more suits. We’ll also show you how to grind for points.
Invision’s Web-Verse Controls
First off, we start with the controls. The first time you try to swing from building to building, the controls will feel a little janky to you. You can use W, A, S, D on your keyboard as normal and spacebar to jump. Right click to change your camera’s angle with your mouse.
Next, press E to shoot a web and swing from one building. Your web will stick so long as you press it and it’ll snap when you let go. Pressing R is the equivalent of dashing in this game.
By holding Shift, your character will sprint and you can use this while climbing as well. By pressing Ctrl, you will toggle on climbing. To stop climbing, just press Ctrl again.
The way to get a good momentum is by pressing E, swing, and let go when the momentum is starting to pull you up. You can combine this with R and achieve an amazing speed in traversing through the city from one edge of the map to the other. But note that E and R only works when there’s a building taller than you or trees.
You can press T to do point zip. This basically launches you into position and when you press space, you’ll shoot far away.
You can change into your Spidersuit by pressing V. It’ll take you to the spawn point where you’ll appear in your suit. To wear your suit, you need to go to Main Menu and then you’ll be taken to this page to pick your Suit.
Hover to the mask symbol next to the burger menu and you can change your appearance in Alter Ego. Additionally, special suits come with special abilities by pressing B. Obviously, nothing is more important than looking cool in this game!
To take pictures, press Z, which is a toggle mode.
The combat is simple. Simply spamming left clicks will let you launch a series of hits on your enemy. You can also hurl object by pressing B at enemies.
Getting Suits
There are several ways to get suits. From finishing time trials to finishing quests, InVision’s Web-Verse now features tens of suits including suits from villains that you can wear. Some have been made unavailable and are locked behind Game Passes.
You can find what kind of suit rewarded when you finish certain quests by looking at the symbols. They also indicate the location where you can pick up the quest. For example, below, is a picture of the BIG TIME Suit that I got from killing the Lizard.
There are also time trials spread within the city. By finishing these trials, the suits will be automatically unlocked in the Shop, like THE SPIDER-MAN 2099 ATSV Suit.
Another way is by shopping at the store which can be accessed by opening the burger menu and clicking Main Menu. And you need Points to shop for some of these. Others cost you Robux, typically 125 Robux for two suits.
While most suits are cosmetics purposes only, there are rare suits that come with special properties.
Grinding Points
There are mainly two ways to get coins. The first is Pizza Delivery, which is shown below. This is a time-attack challenge where you have to deliver pizzas to 6 NPCs.
Another way is by fighting criminals. This is the more lucrative option, but it’s often highly sought by other players. So you might end up arriving late at the scene and if you do, you won’t get any reward. So it’s best to wait from a top of the building for the Criminal in Progress pop up.
With the latest update bringing the new map here, you want to grind for these points ASAP to get there. Because the cost to get to the new map is quite expensive, so go get grinding now!
