After the new big maintenance  update that released on the 6th of April 2022, there was a major update for the new region Mountain of Eternal Winter. This new update also gave us the ability to craft the well known Labreska Helmet.

Labreska Helmet is one, if not THE, coolest looking helmet of them all. It’s sheer size and elegancy makes it very unique in the Black Desert Online world. Here i am going to show you how to craft and enhance it.

Black Desert Online – Labreska Helmet Crafting & Enhancing Guide

1. Requirments to craft Labreska Helmet:

  • You have to complete Mountain until Eternal Winter main quest, until Everfrost Beyond the Doors of Alyaeli
  • Must be level 56 or higher
  • Start the Labreska’s Helmet Fragment of Despair quest
  • Complete all quests until Labreska’s Helmet Unexpected Gain to get the crafting quest
  • Have 1 or more Flame or Frost
  • Have PEN Blackstar helmet or PEN boss gear helmet with Caphras stone level 10

2. Labreska’s Helmet -Fragment of Despair

After you finished the Mountain of Eternal Winter main questline you can start this quest line by going to Floki who is located here.

This quest is pretty straight forward. You just talk to Floki, and it is gonna finish in under a minute. Then keep talking and accept the other new quest – Ointment for Bruises

3. Labreska’s Helmet – Oitment for Bruises

You have to make your way here.

Just open conversation with Illichi, and say to her that Floki sent you. Finished

4. Labreska’s Helmet – The Rowdy Okjinsini

Return to Floki after the talk with Illichi. Turn in the quest and take this new one.

For this you just need to go outside the cave and interact with these 2.

5. Labreska’s Helmet – Let’s Head East

Turn in the quest to Floki and take this new one.

Head out to find Tori. Once you talk to her, you will finish this quest and she will give you a new one. Accept the new quest.

6. Labreska’s Helmet – Tori’s Story; The Mad Scientists Whereabouts

It is also just a talking quest. You need to follow the animal and make a conversation. Then come back to the original quest giver place.

Once you come up, you will see and call a black spirit to proceed with the quest line. Now you will need to climb up the mountain to keep going.

7. Labreska’s Helmet – Unwelcome Visitor; The Prison of the Seventh Witch

At the top interact with the visitor. He will guide you through the Ethereal Limbo. You will need to enter it.

Inside, find Marni and talk with her. She will give you the Prison of the Seventh Witch quest. For this you just need to interact and read the book next to her.

8. Labreska’s Helmet – Entangled in Erasure

You take this quest from Marni and it can be little tricky. You will have to go a specific colour room which can be green, purple and red to interact with Braziers inside.

You just need to go to the green, purple and red rooms by entering the doors with those same colours. It doesn’t have to be done in order.

Choose the second option – you let the energy take over you.

Inside the purple room, interact with the purple brazier. You need to do this same thing for all these 3 colours. Once you finish this, go to the door with a very small light to go to the beginning chamber room. Here you can turn in the quest.

9. Labreska’s Helmet – Report; Unexpected Gain

You turn in your quest, and talk with the black spirit to get another one or the Report quest.

You have to go back to Floki and there you can start the Unexpected Gain quest.

For this quest, just merge Fragment of Despair and Old Golden Ring in your inventory to get Unburdened Labreska’s Horn. You turn in the quest to Floki again.

Now you have officially finished Labreska’s Helmet quest. Let us get to crafting!

A. Crafting the Helmet

Interact with Floki while having all the required items and stuff needed said before. On example – if you do not have PEN Blackstar helmet with 10 Caphras, you will only chat with Floki. But if you have that, you can start the quest for crafting.

B. Crafting Labreska’s Helmet questline

You will need to offer every needed requirement for the helmet. Once you do, start heading into this direction to the crafting location. Finally you can see the helmet being crafted.

The cutscene is very rewarding as well. The helmet is in your hands after this very long questline. Now that you have the helmet, we can go on and proceed with the enhancement.

C. Enhancing Guide

Although it is already a very good unique and strong item, you can make it much better. The best way to enhance it, and very good item, is the Flawless Chaotic Black Stone.

You can craft it with these materials.

Now there are several types of this helmet, depending on how you enhance it.

  • Desperate Labreska’s Helmet – Tier 1
  • Distorted Labreska’s Helmet – Tier 2
  • Silent Labreska’s Helmet – Tier 3
  • Wailing Labreska’s Helmet – Tier 4
  • Obliterating Labreska’s Helmet – Tier 5

Congratulations on your way for finding the helmet! For some people this enhancing can take grinding up to 40 hours. Good luck, and enjoy it!
