Lords of The Fallen 2023 features the excruciatingly difficult challenges that Soulsborne games are known for. There are so many dangers with monsters and enemies always out there to kill the player. One such changer is the Umbral Entity, which will prevent you from progressing the game.

This can be annoying for many players who are trying to get to the next challenge. There are even some who feel it is a glitch that has locked them out. Not to worry, we have you sorted out. In this guide, we will show you how to pass the Umbral Entity that is preventing your progress. Let’s dive in!

How To Pass Umbral Entity Prevents Your Progress

The Umbral Entity appears at a particular door that you would normally go to for a checkpoint in the form of a Vestige.

However, you are unable to open the door when the Umbral Entity is there giving you a message. This message says “An Umbral Entity prevents your progress.”

The first thing you want to do is to turn back and look over the edge of the platform. It will seem like there is nothing, which is why you should bring out your lamp.

Shining your lamp will show you there are pathways in the Umbral World.

Once you find the pathways, go into the Umbral World mode and now you should be able to find a completely new area near the platforms.

Follow the path down to the first section and kill the few enemies there. They are very easy to defeat.

Continue following the path to the next section. This section will be under the platform

Kill the enemies there and go to the end of the section. Here you will see a small section that you can interact with by pulling out your lamp.

Interact with it and the lamp will shine on this section, releasing the Spirit inside.

However, the work is still not over. You still need to release three more Spirits.

Return back to the blocked door and now go to the far right of it for the Second Spirit. When you are as far right as you can be, look up and you should see the same section with the Spirit inside. Pull out your lamp and shine it, releasing the Spirit inside.

The third Spirit to be released can be found on the far left of the blocked door. Be warned that you may stumble upon a few more enemies so be on your guard. Follow the pathway on the far left and stand on the platform.

When you are as far left as possible, look up and you should see a section where the Spirit is inside. Shine the lamp on it and release the Spirit.

Now, return to the door and you will see the final Spirit trapped on it. Shine your lamp on it and release it. After that, the door is open, and you can walk through to continue your progress. Make sure you get to a Vestige to save the progress you made.

That’s everything you need to know about passing the “An Umbral Entity prevents your Progress” issue in Lords of The Fallen 2. It is quite simple to do once you understand it. This is because the enemies are easy to defeat and this is simply a puzzle that you need to solve. Just make sure that you are on your guard and you should be good.
