There’s a new survival game out there and it’s set in the amazing universe made by J.R.R. Tolkien. The Lord of the Rings: Return To Moria is a game where you play as a dwarf trying to reclaim the lost Dwarven hold of Moria. The game has some amazing sights, and you’ll want to experience it with the best performance or graphics as possible. That’s why you’ll need to play around with the settings.
In this guide, we’ll show you what are the best settings for this game. We’ll also show where some of the options are to customize your experience further. So, let’s see what you can set in this game!
BEST Settings Guide
LOTR Return to Moira was released in the Epic Store and right now it doesn’t have that much in terms of options in its settings.
It’s quite barebones for a modern title following the triple-A tradition of not having things like FOV sliders or other accessibility options. Hopefully, they add more in future updates.

General Settings
Most of the settings under the Controls and Key Mapping tabs are all up to your preference.
You should experiment around with sensitivity to see what fits for you. If you like to hold the Sprint button, there’s a setting for that too.
If you’re one of the players that like to lock the minimap to the north like me, then that option can be found under the Gameplay tab.
That’s where you can also find the language settings and the Hide Invite Code if you’re streaming.
Video Options
Lastly, there are the Video tab settings. There’s not that much in terms of options here like other games but the game does support NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR. You can set those to your preference if you need some performance boost.
Graphics Quality is where you can change the overall quality of the game. Of course, the higher the setting, the more impact it has on performance. So, if you’re having FPS issues then it’s best to lower it.
If you’re experiencing Screen tearing, then it’s best to turn on Vsync. You can also set up the Frame Rate Limit if you want to your monitor’s refresh rate if you need it.
The game can be quite dark at times, so remember to set the Brightness. This can give you a slight advantage but can make the game look a bit too saturated. If it’s too dark, then increase this option.
Those are the best settings for LOTR Return To Moria. As you can see they’re not a lot and hopefully they’ll update it to have more options in the future.
