Like many weapons, you have both Horizontal (H) and Vertical (V) triple combos. Both are easy to use – just spam your LMB and RMB, or whichever button you bound your horizontal and vertical hits with.

Next, you can chain horizontal and vertical attacks. You can do H-V-H, V-H-V, V-V-H, and H-H-V, depending on your preferences. You can also do crouch horizontal/vertical attack (C-H/V) and jump horizontal/vertical attack (J-H/V).

There’s a special combination dual halberds can do, which is doing Hold H-V-H.

Which brings us to the charged attacks. Dual halberds charged horizontal attack (Hold H) is the only one other than the dagger that has an uppercut, which lifts your opponent on air.

On the other hand, the charged Vertical (Hold V) doesn’t have a follow up vertical attack. But you can follow it up with a horizontal attack, so the combo is the Hold V-H.

Now we’re onto the jades for dual halberds. The Whirling Slash is a purple jade that changes your vertical chain attack. On the third hit, it’ll turn into purple-focused, which means it cannot be parried. The Benthic Descent on the other hand alters your Hold H-V-H combo to a spinning vertical attack on the V.

The Dragonlike Might legendary jade changes your charged horizontal attack. It gives you a startup spinning attack before you leap into air. But the entire time, you can be parried because it’s not purple-focused.

Now, here’s the first combo to run for dual halberds: H, C-V, V, C-H, Hold V. This ends with the vertical charged, but you can add another horizontal attack to that for that extra chain.

Then add your character’s special ability, like Feria’s Scattershot, to chain what would’ve been short combos. Like the Hold-H, Scattershot, then Hold-H, V.
