Palia is an adventure and life simulation game developed by Singluarity6 Corporation. Players step foot into the fictional world of Palia, where they can manage and build their houses while farming crops and forming relationships with the town’s residents.
The game also allows players to complete countless quests that help in exploration and provide rewards for progression. One of these quests involves finding these Old Coins. This guide will help you navigate through the Old Coin quest in the game.
Old Coin Quest
Talking to Residents
Once you find the Old Coin, the quest will begin, and you will have to ask the town residents about it. For this, head over to Jina, which can be found near the Mirror Pond Ruins during the daytime.
Her location differs depending on what time of the day it is. She can also be found at the Library sometimes, so be sure to check there as well.
Jina will tell you about the origins of the Old Coin, stating that not many of them exist. She will then tell you to talk to Zeki since it is a collector’s item, meaning it is rare.
After talking to Jina, head over to the General Store where Zeki is usually found. The store’s location is highlighted on the map image below.
Zeki will tell you that you can trade these Old Coins for fortunes at the Phoenix Statue that is found in Bahari Bay spit.
Finding Old Coins
Now you will need to locate the other two Old Coins, which can be found in the Flooded Fortress. For the first one, jump from the ledge onto the waterfall, as seen in the image below.
There will be a Vase on the edge of the waterfall that will hold the next coin. Just a reminder that this coin won’t spawn until you progress in the quest to the part where you have to locate these coins.
The second coin can be found on a broken ledge that is just Northwest of the Pavel Mines. The location of the ledge is highlighted on the map image below.
There will be vines near the location that you can climb in order to reach the Vase on top of the ledge. This second coin won’t spawn until you get the coin on the waterfall.
Fortunes
Now, you will have to find the Phoenix Statue to read the fortunes. For this, head over to the location where you found the first coin by gliding over from the edge. From this ledge, jump once again and glide to the opposite side where the staircase is. The location is shown in the image below.
After going to the top of the staircase, take a left. Then, you will find another corridor leading into the ruins. Here, take the first left, and you will come across two flights of stairs. Go down, and at the bottom, you will find the Phoenix Statue.
Interact with the statue and drop the coins in it. For every coin that you drop, you will receive a fortune in your inventory. After reading the fortunes, head back to Zeki and talk to him to finish the quest. You will receive 10 Renown and a Lucky Coin.
