Dire Circumstances Quest
The Dire Circumstances is one of the character quests in Palia. To get that quest, you should improve your friendship with Kenli just a little bit until he mentions that he needs your help finding his lost sandwich.
While he gives you a hint about its location, finding the sandwich might take you some time as there are a lot of waterfalls with flowers around.
But, you will see that it is a pretty easy and quick quest you can do to get some extra gold in no time.
The lost sandwich is located inside the Gazebo near Phoenix Falls. It will appear as a picnic basket.

Once you find the sandwich, return it to Kenli and give it back to him. Doing this will complete the Dire Circumstances quest, and you will receive 300 Gold, 15 Renown, and some friendship points with Kenli.
