Path of Exile has a new patch 3.18 and with it comes the Sentinel Challenge. The Sentinel Challenges include showing you the ropes and facing multiple bosses with the use of Sentinels. This guide will show you how to complete the Sentinel Challenge.
Sentinel Challenge Guide – Path of Exile
The Sentinel Challenge is a series of multiple challenges you need to complete. They can be intimidating at first, but breaking them down can make it easier to complete the overall challenge.
The Basics
The first three challenges of the challenge will show you the ropes. Learning the Ropes, Basics of Sentinel, and Complete Vendor Recipes will show you how to purchase gems. These challenges will show you how to deploy a sentinel and craft items like MS boots.
After the basics, you need to defeat a total of 5 bosses from Acts 1-5. You also need to complete the Encounters. On the Vaal side, kill the monster and open the vessel. Complete the 6 trials to activate the Ascendancy Altar.
Capture the beast with Einhar and activate the Bestiary Blood Altar. Lastly, enter an Incursion and kill an Architect.
Act II Bosses
Deploy and use each Sentinel Type and defeat bosses from Act 6-10. Next, defeat 18 different Archnemesis mods. This can be grindy but it shouldn’t be too difficult. You also need to complete 100 Breaches, Defeat the Wild Chayula, Xesht-ula, and Flawless Breachstone.
Complete 150 Monoliths with 5 rare mods,8 essences in T13+, and 2 corrupted mods. After this, you need to combine the sentinels and complete the Domination Encounters by defeating them with Covetous Buff.
Encounters
The next challenge will be to complete the Metamorph, Harvest, and Delirium Encounters. Some of these encounters will have timers and require mods. After these three encounters, you need to use Recombinators and Eldritch Altars.
After using them, you will encounter numerous bosses in the quests called “Sheer Arrogance”, “Cosmic Wounds: The Shaper”, and “Memento Mori”. Make sure you are well-prepared because these three bosses are extremely challenging.
Unique Maps and More Bosses
Power up all three sentinel slots with 30 power units. After this, complete all the unique maps and be prepared to face three more bosses. Once you complete the maps, you need to defeat Uber Sirus, Uber Elder, and Uber Maven.
The Grinding does not stop there. You need to Grind Altars next, with 1000 Searing altars, 1000 Eater Altars, and 200 Witnessed bosses. After this, defeat Maven without getting Shaper Beamed, detonating anomalies with you and the shaper chilled.
Encounters and Conditional Boss Fights
The last batch would be defeating the bosses again but completing it with conditions. Complete the second part of encounters first, and defeat the bosses next. Starting from the Black Star all the way to the Maven once again.
Once you defeat the bosses and empowered map bosses within the quest conditions, you only need to complete the end game grinds to complete the challenge.
