With the release of Path of Exile 3.18, there are some changes made to the Uber boss fights. Some changes can be subtle but they can catch you off-guard when you are fighting the boss. You can find the changes for each boss below.

Shaper and Ooba Ooba Elder

  • Shaper – The Shaper boss now has two clones at the start. The yellow balls will have additional projectiles and the slam attack will be faster. The Degen balls will stay on the ground  throughout the whole boss fight, and Zana will not help you in the bullet hell phase.
  • Ooba Ooba Elder – The Slam animation is faster and the shaper fires three projectiles. You will encounter a bullet hell with the Shaper with no protective zone. The Elder will place three circles that triggers quickly.

Sirius

Sirius now have six phases and the first five phase are similar from before. However, a small cloud will spawn and it will chase you. The meteor attack is shorter and during this attack, the cloud will disappear.

For the last phase, expect six beams from the everlasting fire. The Ground Degen will cover up 80% of the center of the arena. For the meteor phase, Sirius will drag you back to the ground Degen area.

Searing Exarch and Eater of Worlds

  • Searing Exarch – The boss will deal more damage, especially on Annihilation. In the ball phase, expect full intensity with each phase spawning a Molten Minotaur. The Minotaur will stack until you defeat them. Incineration will be harder to tank and the end phase will have debuffs on the ground.
  • Eater of Worlds – The small tentacles will have more tentacles and if you stand in the center, it can one shot you. In the sphere phase, large tentacles will attack the center and you get debuff if you get charge beamed. Slam attacks deal more damage and succumb beam have more hits.
