Project Smash: Kraken Combo Complete Guide & Showcase

New class alert! Here is everything we know about the Kraken.

Project Smash is a fighting game on Roblox that doesn’t even try to hide the fact that it’s inspired by Nintendo’s own flagship entry in the genre. Instead of characters pulled from other franchises, this game utilizes a class system, with new ones being added over time. Here is a quick guide on the new Kraken class that was added recently!

Kraken Combo Complete Guide & Showcase

The Kraken is a new C Tier class that costs $18,000, making it the most expensive one in the game as of the latest patch. If you have some spare Robux, now is a great time to instabuy this class with it.

On the flip side, if you need some help getting cash, we also have a guide on the best way to make money in Project Smash. You might need a friend to help you out with that!

The Kraken has the following abilities:

  • 1. Dread Flourish – A series of slashes that deal a decent amount of damage. The last strike in the sequence will knock the target back a fair distance away.
  • 2. Tide Slicer – The Kraken performs three forward dashes followed by a slash after each step. Deals minimal damage, but can be used as a combo extender.
  • 3. Cannon Shot – Fires a cannonball that explodes on impact or after a brief moment, knocking back affected targets. Can be used to further propel yourself upwards in the air.
  • 4. Cannonball – The Kraken fires their cannon on the ground, propelling themselves forward and knocking down enemies in the impact zone.

Some Combos to Try Out

There’s always room for individual expression when it comes to executing combos and figuring out what moves you can weave together in the game. With that said, if you’re looking for some example combos, we got you covered.

Combo #1 – Basic Strings

Open the engagement with a string of 3x normal attacks and immediately follow it up a Tide Slicer. Before your opponent can recover, hit them with a Dread Flourish.

Upon knocking back your target with the last hit of Dread Flourish, finish the combo with a Cannonball. Make sure to land on your target.

After that, you can do another string of 3x normal attacks and hit them with a Cannon Shot to exhaust all your cooldowns. This extra part is an untrue combo, so your opponent can escape or start countering you here.

Damage: Around 44%. Can potentially go up to 56% if you successfully land the untrue combo portion.

Optional addition: You can also do three M1 attacks right before the Dread Flourish. This makes it slightly harder to execute but takes the potential total damage up to 65%.

Combo #2 – Higher Damage

Start off this combo with a string of 3x normal attacks immediately followed up with a Tide Slicer. At the end, hit another string of 3x normal attacks before casting Cannonball to send both you and your target flying.

Before your target can get back up, hit yet another string of 3x normal attacks immediately followed by Dread Flourish. Before your opponent can land, fire a Cannon Shot at them to send them flying again.

Damage: This combo can deal up to 81% damage, and you can knock an enemy out of the map with it.

There are variations of this combo that can further increase the amount of damage it deals, but this requires you to experiment with weaving in down slams in between certain moves.
