The Resident Evil 4 Remake was an amazing game that did the original version justice, but it left some unanswered questions with regards to Ada Wong’s involvement. In the Separate Ways DLC, you play through her perspective of the game’s events. In this guide, we’ll be covering the location of Novistadors at the Path of Penitence for the Bug Buster request!

Bug Buster | Novistadors Locations at Path of Penitence

Novistadors are large insect-like creatures that can blend in with the background, which makes them quite annoying to find. Luckily, you only have to find and kill three of them for this request. And it’s fairly easy if you know exactly where they are.

From the merchant, simply run into the Path of Penitence and follow the path straight ahead until you reach a room with a ladder. Climb this ladder then jump down the ledge to your left so you can pull the lever.

RE4 Separate Ways Path of Penitence

Pulling the lever will raise the large pillar trap beside you. Simply run past it and look up. The first Novistador should be camouflaged right up there.

RE4 Separate Ways Bug Buster First Novistador

After that, go straight forward and run toward the two similar traps. Get past both of these and walk right up the stairs.

RE4 Separate Ways Path of Penitence

Before you reach the top, turn around and you’ll find the second Novistador on the ceiling. After killing it, continue upwards and climb the next flight of stairs that you’ll run into.

RE4 Separate Ways Bug Buster Second Novistador

Once you reach the large rock, swing your camera to the upper left and you should find the third and last Novistador just hanging around on a ledge way above you.
