Ready Or Not is an intense, tactical first-person shooter game where you collaborate with other teammates. When you play the game, you can either choose to play on online multiplayer modes, or solo missions where you will have AI teammates to help you complete your missions.

It can be difficult to find the right players to squad up with. This is why many players choose to go on solo missions. These AI teammates may not be perfect, but as long as you know how to utilize them fully, they can help you complete your missions.

Ready Or Not: Solo Entry Operations Guide

First, let’s learn about all the commands. Once you press the middle mouse button, the game will let you see several command options.

There are Stack Up, Open, Breach, and Open Door. When you scroll your mouse wheel, the text color will change, and this means different things:

  • Gold: This applies to your whole team (all of the AI teammates).
  • Red: This will apply to the two teammates with the red names on your team.
  • Blue: This will apply to the two teammates with the blue names on your team.

Sometimes in small corners, you do not want to use commands that will apply to your whole team. Instead, it is sometimes good to use red or blue to apply to a few bot teammates only.

This will prevent body blocking or the AI teammates from bumping into one another in tight areas.

Next to one of the options, you will see the three stripes icon. This icon means that there are many options beneath them.

If you select Breach, there will be options for you to either Breach with a Shotgun or a C2. If you select Shotgun, there will be Clear and Clear With Flashbang. For example:

  • Breach > Shotgun > Clear With Flashbang
  • Select Blue Team > Stack Up > Mirror Under Door.

That is how the command system works, you can use it to explore many possibilities and come up with the right decision depending on the situation.

There are two playstyles you can go for:

  1. Be the tactical commander and give your teammates commands on what you need to do and observe the whole situation.
  2. Be the first one to go in and your teammates will accompany you on your next steps.

That’s how you can control your AI teammates and enter different rooms. But what if you are on your own?

It is best for you to clear areas that you can already see. When a door is opened, you’ll want to move around it and clear corners that you can see. Then, when you know you’re safe, you can continue going in and repeat the steps.

It is important for you to identify areas that are Known and Unknown. Doing this will help you prevent yourself from making mistakes by entering rooms that you assumed you’ve already checked but actually haven’t.

Those are some tips you can apply when you complete missions as a Solo Player in Ready Or Not. Room entries require you to always check every single corner to make sure you are safe. This becomes even more important when you do not have any teammates nearby.
