The new DLC for Remnant 2 has added a variety of items that players can find while they enjoy the brand new Dungeons and story. You will need to follow a very specific series of steps tied to the lore of the game to obtain these items. Many players tend to feel that the effort can be very time-consuming and even challenging. But, you will be rewarded with a cool Armor Set in the end!
The Crimson Guard Secret Armor Set is one such item you can obtain in the Awakened King DLC. This set looks incredibly cool, allowing you to look like the Red Prince himself. You will also get an alternate ending to the DLC main story that is incredibly cool and rewarding. Let’s dive in!
How to Get Crimson Guard Secret Armor Set
The first thing you will need to do is find the Gilded Chambers Dungeon in the Awakened King DLC. This dungeon has a chance to spawn in the entrance shortly after the Mournful Promenade Checkpoint. However, if you cannot locate the Dungeon, you will need to Reroll and look for it again.
You might have to cross the bridge and go down the ladders to get to the area where the Dungeon is located. The map below should give you an idea of where the Dungeon might be. Remember, areas are procedurally generated in the game. The exact location for this dungeon will be different for you.
There is a particular yellow doorway that leads to the Dungeon. Eventually, you should be able to locate it, even if you get unlucky with the Rerolls.
This is what the start of the Gilded Chambers Dungeon will look like.
Once you’ve located it, you will now need to leave and head towards the Chamber of the Faithless. This is the area that you arrived to during the Awakened King DLC.
Make sure that you come here during the same run where you located the Gilded Chambers Dungeon. This is because you will be returning there once you’ve taken care of business here.

In the Chamber of the Faithless, you will need to defeat the One True King boss. This is the final boss of the DLC main story. You can kill him in whatever way you want for this step.
After killing the One True King, head back to the Gilded Chambers that you located at the start of this journey.
Here, you will need to locate Fae Golden Knights and kill them. Defeating one will yield you x1 Crimson King Coin.
For this step, you will need to farm them until you have x3 Crimson King Coins.
Don’t worry, if you are unable to find more Golden Knights. You can simply return to the checkpoint and rest, allowing you to spawn a new one to get even more coins. Keep farming the Fae Golden Knights until you have the required number of Crimson King Coins.
After this, progress through the Gilded Chambers Dungeon. At the end of the Dungeon, you will come into contact with the Red Prince, who is the boss of the Gilded Chamber. However, this time, you will not be fighting him but instead giving him your Crimson King Coins.
When you approach him, there will be a dialogue where you’d typically decide to fight him since you didn’t have a tribute. However, in this case, choose the First Option which says Give Coins.
Keep in mind that once you do this, you will no longer be able to fight him, and he will not be in the Dungeon anymore. As for where he will be, you will see in the next step.
Once you have given him the Crimson King Coins, it is time to return to the Chamber of the Faithless to claim your reward!
Make your way through the Chamber and reach the end. You will see that the Red Prince is there, except he has become the Red King!
After he completes his dialogue, talk to him and he will thank you for your help. In return, he will grant you the Crimson Guard Secret Armor Set, which you can equip.
After equipping it, you will look just like him and have an extremely cool Armor Set in your collection! Doing so will also grant you the Secession Trophy/Achievement.
That’s all the steps you need to complete to get the Crimson Guard Secret Armor Set in the Awakened King DLC. Not only are you getting some rare items, but you also get to experience a really interesting alternative ending to the DLC story. Definitely worth the effort!
