If you’re interested in getting the Disengage Mutator in Remnant 2, you’ve come to the right place. This certain Mutator can be found in 3 different locations, which can be confusing to find. In this guide, I’ll show you how you can locate and get the Disengage Mutator in the game. Let’s jump right into it!

How to Get Disengage Mutator Guide

In order to find the Disengage Mutator, you’ll need to defeat The Progeny mini boss. It’s located and spawns randomly on 3 locations: the Dark Conduit, the Hatchery or the Putrid Domain. The map can be different for you, but you must look for a steel door in room filled with red lights, which leads to a room with the mini boss. However, the door will be locked. For more information, read further into the guide.

First, you’ll need to find the Aerary Glyph. This is the key that opens the steel door mentioned before. In order to find it, you’ll need to find a corpse that is randomly located on the map.

After finding the key, use it to open the steel door as show in the image below. After that, enter the room of course.

Then, you’ll come across The Progeny, here are some tips you can use to defeat this angry slug:

  • It’s basically a stronger and faster version of the Slug Parasite so the moveset will be pretty much the same.
  • There will be times that it will expose its “head”, shoot it when it does.
  • Be careful of the robots in the area and dodge their attacks as well while taking them out.
  • It has three attacks: a lunge, sweep and a “cross claw” attack.

After beating the mini boss, you’ll be rewarded with the Disengage Mutator. It will make your Melee attacks increase the damage of the next Backdash Evade Attack by 4%, which can stack up to 5 times and lasts for 7.5s. For this Mutator, it will be good for those players that like an in-and-out playstyle.
