Remnant 2: How to Get Monarch Weapon | Homing Rounds Long Gun

What the gun does in Remnant 2 usually doesn’t matter unless it heals you for every shot you take, which it doesn’t because that’s broken. It’s how it looks along with the armor set you’re wearing that really makes or breaks the overall experience.

Still, having a firearm that has homing rounds does sound like a good bit of fun if you’re tired of having to think where you point and click. If you ever caught wind of the Monarch Weapon’s existence but don’t know where to find it, then stick around for a while. The guide below is all you need!

How to Get Monarch Weapon

You’ll need a few things first before getting the Monarch Weapon. One of them will be the Agony Spike, which you can only get by defeating The One True King. He’ll be in the Chamber of the Faithless.

You have to deal the final blow yourself in order to get it. Avoid using any AOE attacks and focus your shots on the King himself.

Might as well side with Nimue at this point if you ever see her in Forlorn Coast.

Remnant 2 Monarch Weapon Location

After dealing with the one true pretender, take the Agony spike all the way back to Ward 13. Your home away from home!

Talk to Jamie Lee Curtis and have her craft the Monarch Long Gun for you. The firearm will cost 1000 Scrap, 7 Lumenite Crystals, and 1 Agony Spike.

Remnant 2 NPC

For something that looks like a repeating rifle, it sure does fire fast. The DPS can easily go over 200 while all projectiles fired will relentlessly tail your target. Do note that relying on the homing rounds will end up with your shots becoming weaker.

However, these homing rounds build influence whenever you hit your targets. Get enough of that and your weapon will create a shockwave around you, get infinite ammo, and an additional 20% damage boost.

Remnant 2 Monarch Weapon Showcase

And that’s how you can get the Monarch Long Gun in Remnant 2. Try the weapon out for yourself once you defeat The One True King!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
