- Buy the Anastasija’s Inspiration ring from Whispers in Ward 13.
- Buy the Amber Moonstone ring from Cass in Ward 13.
- Unlock the Invader and Explorer Archetypes.
- Buy the entire Realmwalker armor set from Whispers in Ward 13.
- Get the Void Heart relic in N’Erud in Alepsis-Taura.
- Get Ford’s Scattergun in The Red Throne’s Library.
- Get the Labyrinth Staff in The Labyrinth.
- Craft the Cube Gun from McCabe in Ward 13.
- Get to the Red Corrupted Door at The Labyrinth.
- Equip everything we got from this guide to get to the Corrupted State and open the door.
- Find the Strange Box in The Backrooms.
- Finally, talk to Wallace in Ward 13 to craft the Hexahedron and unlock the Archon class!
If you’re having a hard time on some certain step/s, don’t worry. This guide continues with a detailed walkthrough section below!
Detailed Walkthrough
This section will be separated for each certain task or equipment. If you only need help with a specific one, make sure to use this table to easily navigate into the guide.
Leto’s Amulet
The first equipment you’ll need to get is the Leto’s Amulet. Which you can purchase from Reginald “Reggie” Malone located in Ward 13. However, it won’t be available until you do a specific task. In order to unlock the amulet, you must do 100x Flops in front of Reggie.
Here’s a more detailed guide on how to get Leto’s Amulet in Remnant 2.
NOTE: To flop, you’ll have to press the dodge button, while wearing heavy armor.
Black Cat Band
Next, you’ll need to get the Black Cat Band ring. Which again, you can buy for 500 scraps from Reginald “Reggie” Malone located in Ward 13. Similar to the Leto’s Amulet, you’ll also have to do a certain task to get it. In order to unlock it from Reggie, you’ll have to die 15 times.
Anastasija’s Inspiration
Compared to the two previous items, this one you can buy from Whispers located in Ward 13 right off the bat. In order to buy the Anastasija’s Inspiration ring, you’ll simply have to pay 3000 scraps.
Amber Moonstone
Next, you’ll also have to get the Amber Moonstone ring from Cass located in Ward 13. You can buy it for 500 scraps. However, take note that Cass’ shop changes every 30 minutes. That means you’ll have to check it every 30 minutes until the ring appears and becomes available for purchase.
Invader and Explorer Archetypes
Now, let’s take a break from the equipment and take a look at these two archetypes: Invader and Explorer. There are two different methods in order to unlock each archetype. In case you don’t have them unlocked yet, here’s how you can get them.
For the Explorer archetype, follow these steps:
- Defeat the Final Boss of the game, Annihilation, in order to get the Broken Compass.
- Go to Wallace located in Ward 13 to craft the Golden Compass engram.
- Here are the requirements/materials to craft the engram: Broken Compass x1, Lumenite Crystal x10 and Scrap x1000.
- After crafting the engram, you can then equip it on the Archetype menu.
For the Invader archetype, check this guide on how to unlock the INVADER Secret Archetype | Invader Class Engram on Remnant 2.
Realmwalker Armor Set
You can acquire this armor set by buying it from Whispers located in Ward 13. Moreover, getting this armor set would be extremely convenient, if you just finished getting the Explorer class archetype from the last section. The reason why is because you can only unlock them by finishing the game campaign as well as unlocking the Explorer archetype.
It’s also the default armor set for the said class when making a new character. Here are all the components of the Realwalker armor set, as well as their cost:
- Realmwalker Beret — 400 Scraps
- Realmwalker Tunic — 1150 Scraps
- Realmwalker Gloves — 350 Scraps
- Realmwalker Pantaloons — 825 Scraps
Here’s a more detailed guide on how to unlock the Realmwalker Armor Set in Remnant 2.
Void Heart
Next is the Void Heart, which you can only get from the Alepsis-Taura located in N’Erud.
In order to get to this area, follow these steps:
- Create a N’Erud run with the Seeker’s Rest as the starting area.
- Complete the main story.
- Do not use the Override Pin on the final boss (Sha’Hala).
- After defeating the final boss, wait 12 real-time hours to unlock Alepsis-Taura.
You can advance your PC/Console time by 12 hours to go through the “time-waiting” step.
Simply look around for the Void Heart just around the area. You can spot it from afar as it’s a dark item surrounded by violet particles.
Ford’s Scattergun
You can get this weapon from a hidden compartment in the Red Throne Library. However, it will be locked.
In order to open the hidden compartment, you’ll have to follow these steps:
- Create a new Yaesha run with The Red Throne as the starting area.
- Be respectful to The Queen at all times.
- Continue with the game and defeat the boss, Annihilation.
- Afterwards, return to the Queen to receive the Seal of the Empress.
- Next, go to the Library in The Red Throne, stand on this location shown in the image below and then equip the Seal of the Empress. This will open the secret compartment.
- Go to the right part of the room and pick up the Ford’s Scattergun, covered by purple particles as shown in the image below. In case you need it, here’s a more detailed guide on how to get the Ford’s Scattergun in Remnant 2.
Labyrinth Staff
You’ll also need the Labyrinth Staff, which you can get by defeating The Labyrinth boss, Bastion. After defeating the boss, you can just pick up the staff located at the back of the room.
For a more detailed walkthrough, you can check this guide on how to find the Labyrinth Staff and Boss in Remnant 2.
Cube Gun
Next, the Cube Gun. In order to get this weapon, you’ll have to ask McCabe located in Ward 13 to craft it for you. However, take note that one of the materials, Conflux Prism, can only be acquired by defeating the Labyrinth Sentinel boss located in the final area of The Labyrinth.
Here are the materials required to craft this weapon:
- Conflux Prism x1
- Lumenite Crystal x7
- Scrap x1000
For a more detailed guide, check this walkthrough on how to get the Cube Gun in Remnant 2.
How to Get to the Red Corrupted Door
Now that you have all the requirements, you’ll then make your way into the Red Corrupted Door.
Follow these steps in order to quickly arrive at the destination:
- Teleport to The Labyrinth.
- Travel to the Colosseum of Ruin.
- Look behind you and go left towards the portal shown in the image below.
- Head straight and go into another portal as shown in the image below.
- Again, head straight until you reach another portal, this time turn right.
- There you go, the Red Corrupted Door! Now, how do you open it? Check the next section.
How to Open Red Corrupted Door
Now that you’ve arrived at the Red Corrupted Door, it will be somehow locked, and you’ll then have to open it. In order to do that, you’ll need to equip all the mentioned archetype, abilities, equipment and weapons that we got from the guide. Here’s a list so you make sure you don’t miss anything:
- Leto’s Amulet
- Black Cat Band
- Anastasija’s Inspiration
- Amber Moonstone
- Archetypes: Invader — Worm Hole and Explorer — Fortune Hunter
- Realmwalker Armor Set
- Void Heart
- Ford’s Scattergun
- Labyrinth Staff
- Cube Gun
Take note that it’s important to have the Fortune Hunter ability from the Explorer, and the Worm Hole ability from the Invader equipped/activated for this to work.
After successfully equipping the said requirements, you’ll notice that your character will enter a Corrupted State. It’s indicated by the red lines and particles around your character.
Afterwards, you can then interact with the Red Corrupted Door and open it using the Biome Portal Key, which you supposedly have now by this time. Enter the door for the next step.
In case you don’t, you get it by defeating the Labyrinth Sentinel. Your path then opens up to the All-Seeing Eye, the Labyrinth’s guardian. As well as Clementine, who will guide you further. The Guardian will grant you the Biome Portal Key.
Strange Box
After entering the door, you’ll arrive at The Backrooms, which is probably a reference to the popular game of the same name. You’ll have to find the Strange Box here. However, the content and structure of the area is randomly generated so I can’t provide the item’s exact location.
Moreover, you’ll only have a limited time to find the box. But you can re-enter the area in case you fail on your attempts. You can also find some other valuable items here too, so it’s not that bad to keep repeating the process.
Just keep trying until you find the Strange Box. It will be covered by golden/yellow particles so that might help you find it easier.
Hexahedron and How to Unlock Archon Class
Congratulations! After all the work, you’re one step closer to acquiring the Archon Class. In order to do that, you must go to Wallace located in Ward 13 to craft the Hexahedron engram, which unlocks the Archon class. Now, for the requirements, you’ll need to have: Strange Box x1, Lumenite Crystal x10 and Scrap x1000.
After that, you can equip the Hexahedron engram and get the Archon Class. Nice work!
