Slap Battles just got yet another update, which means a new glove has been introduced to the game. A lot of these tend to have some really vague requirements, and thenew water glove is no stranger to this concept as it is pretty tough to figure out. With that in mind, here is a guide on how you can unlock it!
How to Get Water Glove Guide + Showcase
Simply put, the water glove can only be acquired by completing the “How did we get here?” badge. This requires the Alchemist glove, which lets you summon a cauldron. We’ll get to why this ability is important further below.
So, in order to get the required badge, the only thing you need to do is brew up eighteen different potions. The worst part is that this can only be done in a public server, and you supposedly must finish it in a single life.
First thing’s first, you need to gather ingredients that spawn all around the map. Hop on in and pick up everything you see. You will need a lot of ingredients in general, so just hoard them as much as you can.
Throughout this process, you want to avoid getting knocked out of the map. If you must, ask nicely in chat and see if players will be cooperative. If your server is pretty chill, you should have no problem getting this done.
Making the Potions
Once you have finished collecting as many ingredients as you can find, find a safe spot and press E while holding the Alchemist Glove to spawn a cauldron. Now we can go ahead with the potion making.
Again, you must not die during this process. If you get slapped away and die, you will supposedly have to start over and make all the potions you lost, if any. Consider making some extra Invincible Potions and drink them to ensure your survival.
To make a potion, just select ingredients and put it in the cauldron. Once you have put in whatever the recipe calls for, click on the ladle to stir it and receive the end product.Below is going to be a list of all recipes that you need for the badge:
- #1. Grug Potion – 1x Mushroom
- #2. Nightmare Potion – 3x Dark Root

Water Glove Showcase
The Water Glove, as the name implies, has the ability to get your opponents wet by spraying liquid at them. In order to spray water, all you need to do is press E to start shooting water at the direction you are facing.
As you spray water, a puddle will form on the ground, and this will cause any enemy to slip and fall on their face. Spraying over a puddle will cause it to get larger, and with many players using the same glove, you might all just start slipping 24/7!
This is actually pretty similar to the Frostbite, which also makes enemies slip all over the place, though not necessarily fall on their face. We have a guide on how to get Frostbite easily if you’re interested in that too!
NOTE: You will not slip over your own puddles. However, it will definitely be hard to tell which ones are yours when there are multiple users in the server.
One important thing to keep in mind is that you have a limited amount of water, as indicated by the cylindrical tank strapped to your back. This will visibly become progressively empty as you spray water.
In order to refill the tank, you will need to find and approach a red fire hydrant. These spawn in random locations in the map, and all you need to do is press F to attach a hose to it. This will gradually fill up your tank, and it will take no time at all to get it full!
The general consensus is that it isn’t really too strong of a glove, but it’s definitely a fun one to use because of all the shenanigans that you can pull off with the puddles.
