How To Get Detonator With Aerialist

The way to get Detonator with the Aerialist does not depend on any trick or exploit that you can use. Rather, it depends on improving your skill at the game by learning certain moves or utilizing the meta of the game.

Flicks

One of the first things that you should focus on learning or improving on are Flicks. Flicks allow you to slap an opponent in any direction you want while facing them.

This includes a direction that is towards you. On the other hand, normal slapping can only slap the opponent in the direction you face.

To Flick, all you need to do is to look in the direction where you want to slap your opponent towards.

After that, move your screen quickly to your opponent, slap them and move back to the initial direction. This will flick the enemy and slap them in the direction you look.

You need to be very quick for this part and be able to do the flick motion within 0.3s. Otherwise, you won’t be able to flick properly.

So, make sure you practice this, until you get the hang of it. The Aerialist does have a small speed buff which can help when Flicking.

Flicks are important because they allow you to manipulate your opponents anywhere. This includes dropping them into Acid pools, into the water or out of the circle.

Another important thing to keep in mind as an Aerialist is taking advantage of your Combos. There are three main types of combos which you can use. The Aerialist has increased jump and slightly high speed which can allow you to pull off some great combos.

Start by practicing Water Combos, where you slap your opponent into the water. After that, you can work on slapping them towards the bottom. Slap them once, let the ragdoll animation finish, and slap them again. Make sure you time your approach to them with the ragdoll animation finishing.

In this way, you can throw them down to the bottom of the ocean and kill them.

Another way you can do combos is by hitting them against walls or mountain sides. You can hit them once and wait for the ragdoll animation to finish.

Once it finishes, jump in the air before hitting them again to get them stuck in the animation. And since the Aerialist has a very high jump, you can take full advantage of this.

Last but not least, you have straight line combos. These require more skill and especially require a lot of Speed.

The Aerialist does not have a lot of Speed, so it is better that you focus on the other combos more as opposed to this one.

Using The Environment

Last, but certainly not least, you need to take advantage of the Environment. It is your best friend and will allow you to lower the disadvantage you already spawn with being the Aerialist. The other moves like Flicks and Combos depend on how you use the environment.

When you are near Acid, make sure to use Flicks to throw your enemies inside the pools. Also, use your jump to avoid them and ensure that the environmental advantage is with you.

When you are near building walls and mountains, try to use them to create combos to inflict some really strong damage.

Since you have a high jump, you can easily dodge enemies mid combo after they exit their animation.

Also, make sure you take advantage of water pools. Use flicks to throw enemies into the water and then chase them down to inflict water combos. You can then slap them to the bottom and defeat them.

The last thing you should work on is to take advantage of the circle. As the circle closes in, the outside will inflict advantage. You can take fights on the edge of circles and slap enemies outside using flicks.

Since you have a high jump, you can also jump over them into the circle in case they manage to slap you outside.
