The Christmas Event 2023 aka the Wintertide has landed in Soul Knight Prequel – you know what means, lots of exclusive content to explore!
Aside from the usual goodies that you can easily get from the event, there are also some unique loots that you can acquire from the event’s boss, which is Noel Rex.
Unfortunately, there’s only a 50% chance for the boss spawning. In this guide, I’ll show you an awesome trick which you can use to make sure that you 100% meet Elite Noel Rex!
100% Solo Meet Noel Rex Trick Guide
How To Meet Noel Rex – Wintertide
Before we get into the trick, I’ll give you a brief breakdown about the Noel Rex boss, and how you can meet him for those juicy loot.
As mentioned before, there’s only a 50% chance of meeting him in the Everfrost Peaks – Area Level 50 of the game. With the other half of the possibility being a fight with the familiar Alpine Yeti Alpha.
While the 50% chance rate seems good at first, it may not be as favorable as it seems. Even after 100 attempts, you might end up with only 20 to 40 successful encounters.
If luck isn’t on your side, the outcome could be even less promising. In my case, I managed only 4 successful encounters out of 20 runs – a reminder that luck doesn’t always play in our favor.
That said, you can do a trick which will secure you a 100% chance fan meet with the infamous Noel Rex, even better, his Elite form!
100% Chance Rate Meet Noel Rex Trick
First, create a room in multiplayer mode. However, keep in mind that the mode is only available in certain regions like Vietnam and Japan.
So, if you can’t make a room, you’ll have to use a VPN. No worries, you won’t get ban in any way using this trick.
After successfully making a room, you’ll have to go solo without waiting for other players to join.
Now, simply go to the Everfrost Peaks – Area Level 50 and you’ll notice that you’ll 100% meet the Elite Noel Rex boss.
To explain this, it’s because “supposedly” playing with a full party will secure a fight with the tough Elite Noel Rex boss. Making a multiplayer room somehow convinces the game that you’re playing with a party even when you’re not!
However, if you use this trick, you’ll have to take on the boss fight by yourself. That’s why I recommend that you only do this trick if you’re confident enough, and you have a very strong build (emphasis on “very strong” – trust me, this boss fight is no piece of cake).
More Info About The Elite Noel Rex Boss
Like I said, the Noel Rex Boss is no piece of cake (after all, it’s supposed to be taken down with a team), in fact, it’s the whole bakery! What more if it’s on the Elite Form, which has TONS of health.
In fact, you’ll be spending 2 minutes smashing your screen and his health won’t even reach half, even with a “very strong” high-DPS build.
SIDE NOTE: If you’re looking for a strong build, you might want to check out our End Game Elementalist and End Game Assassin guides!
If this happens to you, it’s completely normal. This is because Noel Rex has a self-regeneration mechanic, similar to the Crystal Crab (however, he doesn’t have to take damage to heal which is absurd, really).
That means you wouldn’t want to drop the ball and waste a second watching him heal. Doing so will just prolong the already-long fight with him. Also, he uses from time-to-time, essentially making the boss fight a “massage session” for him, but with the right build, you’ll get him.
And there you have it! Hopefully, you’ll be able to beat Noel Rex in Soul Knight Prequel -Wintertide Event. If you’re still having a hard time beating his Elite from (which is understandable), feel free to farm through the normal farming method until you’re able to get a better build.
He drops Noel Rex’s clothing line, as well as the exclusive red necklace, Heart of Ice, which is perfect for bulky mages like Stormwarden! If you have questions or concerns, feel free to leave them in the comments section below.
