One thing you should never do when visiting a place that has caged animals: never mess with them and their territory. They get pretty offended when they see random humans like us, just messing about and mocking them. They will often try to attack you, even if you are behind protective glass to keep you away from the animals. Lions in particular, are very finnicky about their territory. In this guide, we will show you how to complete the Staking Your Territory quest, so Simba and Nala won’t have to bite off Donald’s head when he messes around in Disney Dreamlight Valley!

When the quest starts, your first objective is to place Scar’s Lounging Rock and Landscaping Furniture on Dazzle Beach. You don’t need to put them all over Dazzle Beach, but just on a small part of Dazzle Beach so the lions can have somewhere to lie down and relax while under the sun. After you are done with the decorations, talk to Nala and you will get your next objective.
Nala will ask you to dress for the occasion, so you will need to put on some Rustic clothing and grow a mustache. The mustache is mostly to imitate a lion’s whiskers, so be sure to get a good looking mustache on you. After you are done dressing up and growing a glorious mustache, head to Dazzle Beach to meet up with Nala.
Nala will show you how to catch fish, which is already easy enough since we know how. Nala asks you to then catch 3 Common or Uncommon Fishes, as well as 3 Rare or Unique Fishes. You don’t need to fish on Dazzle Beach for all of them. You can go around the entire Dreamlight Valley to fish and get the required fishes. Once you have all of them, go back to Nala and talk to her.
After getting all of the fishes, Nala asks you to make her a dish based on fish. Go to any cauldron and you will be able to see the recipes that has fishes in it. Make it and then bring the dish to Nala. Giving her the dish is the last step of the quest, so bringing the dish to her and talking to her will lead to the quest completing.
